After a one season fling with 10, First Dates Australia is heading back to Seven, bringing blind dates, first impressions and the search for lasting romance back to Australian screens.

Seven has released a first look at the new season, marking the show’s return after several years away and introducing a fresh group of hopeful singles, a brand new restaurant and plenty of opportunities for sparks, surprises and awkward silences.

Following its last season on 10 in 2022, the dating series returns to its original home at Seven for the first time since 2020, with strangers taking a leap of faith in the hope of finding a genuine connection.

This season introduces an all new restaurant fitted with discreet cameras designed to capture every moment, from nervous introductions and unexpected chemistry to awkward silences and heartfelt conversations.

Among those searching for love are several familiar faces, with each date building towards the same defining question at the end of the night: would they like to see each other again?

Produced by Warner Bros. International Television Australia for the Seven Network, the series follows singles meeting face to face for the very first time on blind dates that could change everything.

The show’s return has been a long time coming, with Seven first announcing its revival in 2023 before the season was held back from an expected 2024 return and again in 2025, until now.
