Four Corners will tonight air an investigative report that delves into the workplace culture at Channel 7.

The episode is expected to raise serious concerns about workplace culture at the network, which has been described as a “second chance club” for senior men, where the work environment has allegedly been marked by sexism, exploitation, and severe bullying.

The episode, titled Don’t Speak and reported by former Channel 7 journalist Louise Milligan, presents claims that the culture at Channel Seven is so harmful that it has left some staff hospitalised. In more extreme instances, employees have found themselves unable to work or have experienced suicidal thoughts.

The investigation, which involved interviews with more than 200 individuals, includes both current and former employees. Many of these former staff members have been legally restricted from speaking out due to non-disclosure agreements, yet there are ongoing legal claims against the network.

Current employees interviewed for the program expressed a strong belief that significant reforms are necessary, not only at Channel Seven but across the entire commercial television industry.

Don’t Speak is scheduled to air on Monday, 12 August at 8:30pm on ABC TV and ABC iview. Further information and updates can be found on ABC News’ website and social media platforms.

  1. “Non disclosure agreement”sounds like a product those on Mahogany Row knew “could” and did have serious consequences.

Yet a few in MGMT kept the reports from 3 other executives.

    Did Stokes know ? ? ?

Majority at Seven were and are amazing.
