Welcome to the first of two completely unnecessary non-ratings weeks that apparently still need to be maintained in 2024 and beyond…

*** NOTE: NEW METRICS AND REPORTS ***

  • Total TV Overnight Top 30 and Consolidated 7 Top 30 National Total TV reach is calculated using cumulative unique audiences watching 1 min of broadcast TV and 15 sec of BVOD.
  • Total TV National audience is calculated using the audience average for the program as time-coded by the Network across 5CM and all regional markets nationally watching on broadcast TV and BVOD.
  • BVOD national audience is calculated using the total number of minutes watched (including co-viewing) divided by the length of the program.

PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

The first primetime change takes place with I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia (806,000 avg) on Channel 10 kicking off and pushing hard though still relegated to third place in the slot. Australian Idol (891,000 avg) (lw 862k) on Seven delivers its final performances ahead of the announcement of this season’s winner tomorrow, however it remained to be one-way traffic for the final blockbuster-revelation-filled commitment ceremony for Married At First Sight (1,648,000 avg) (lw 1.752m) on Nine.

The Sunday Project (326,000 avg) on 10 only further struggles to draw a significant audience at the start of the week. Meanwhile, the ABC’s night of drama saw a consistent audience for Death In Paradise (695,000 avg) (lw 684k) and a consistently low linear first-run audience for House of Gods (204,000 avg) (lw 226k).
