With a career encompassing roles such as Reporter, Chief of Staff, State Editor, and Presenter, Constable has demonstrated a profound dedication to news and sports coverage. His expertise has seen him guide viewers through significant events including elections, natural disasters, and notable sporting achievements.

Stepping into the role of WIN News Network Sports Presenter, Constable is set to lead the coverage of the highly anticipated Paris 2024 Olympic Games, starting this July. This appointment marks a decade since his initial internship and underscores his remarkable progression within WIN News.

Away from the news desk, Constable balances his professional life with a bustling family life, while still finding time to enjoy his favorite sports.

Stella Lauri, WIN’s Director of News, commented on Constable’s promotion:

“Jared’s appointment rounds out his extraordinary climb through WIN’s news ranks. 2024 marks a decade since that first internship and commencing his role as Sports Presenter. He will work alongside a committed team of journalists, ensuring WIN News has the best coverage of regional sport, in the lead up to and during the Olympics.”

Constable shared his enthusiasm for his new role:

“I’m really excited about the opportunity to bring the sports news to so many lounge rooms across regional and rural Australia each weeknight as part of the WIN News team. And I couldn’t be happier that my new appointment is in an Olympics year, surely the highlight of any sports journalist’s career.”

His tenure as WIN News Network Sports Presenter officially commenced on Monday, January 8, 2024.
