Channel 9 bumps UNDER INVESTIGATION episode focused on Cruise Ship Industry

Channel 9 has surprised viewers with a last-minute decision to pull an episode of the Liz Hayes series Under Investigation from its broadcast schedule.

The fresh episode of Under Investigation which was focused on the return of the Cruise Ship industry at a time when the community is experiencing a rise of COVID-19 cases in the community was originally added to the broadcast schedule on Wednesday in a move designed to capitalise on recent headlines

However, Channel 9 backflipped on those plans late on Thursday afternoon, deciding to air repeat episodes of RBT instead.

The late change sparked rumours of a potential legal challenge to block the broadcast TV Blackbox understands this is not the case, and that the episode was dropped for programming reasons.

TV Blackbox understands the episode will now air later this year when the full new season of Under Investigation premieres
