Heavyweight showdown highlights UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis


The heavyweights take centre stage on Sunday November 29 AEDT, as a UFC title shot goes on the line at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis, live and exclusive on ESPN.

UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis begins at 11am AEDT with the UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis Prelims, before the main card follows at 2pm AEDT, from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Number two-ranked heavyweight Curtis Blaydes faces off against number four ranked Derrick Lewis, with the winner eyeing a shot at champion Stipe Miocic.

With Francis Ngannou seemingly next in line to face the current UFC Heavyweight champion, Sunday’s winner at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Lewis will secure their spot in the queue.

The heavyweight division remains one of the most hotly contested in the UFC, and knockout artists Blaydes and Lewis want to stay in the title picture.

UFC fans know that when these two heavyweights get together, fireworks are not too far away.  

The pair are almost identical in terms of height and reach, and both hold knockout percentages of almost 80 per cent.

Sunday’s co-main event with see number six ranked light heavyweight Anthony Smith mount his own charge towards a UFC title shot against prospect Devin Clark.
