SBS has commissioned a third season of evening game show format, Mastermind

The famous Mastermind black chair will welcome a fresh batch of contenders wanting to show off their specialist subject on the quiz format hosted by Jennifer Byrne.

A further 85 episodes of Mastermind will be produced for the third season with filming to commence early next year.

Additionally, it has been confirmed five primetime episodes of spin-off series Celebrity Mastermind will also be produced. The celebrity version proved successful for SBS when it first premiered earlier this year.

Mastermind launched in Australia in 2019. The series is a BBC UK format and is produced for SBS by BBC Studios.
