Paramedics is heading west, with the long-running observational documentary series set to showcase the work of St John WA crews for the first time.
Season seven marks a new chapter for Paramedics, which has previously followed ambulance crews in Victoria and South Australia, with the series now expanding its focus to the teams working on the frontline across Western Australia.
For its first season in Perth, the series introduces a new group of St John WA paramedics and critical care teams, following them as they navigate everything from routine callouts to complex, life-threatening emergencies across the city.
The new season follows crews including Michael and Kieran, Ruby and Sarah, Dimi and Ven (main picture), Adam and Tash, Rhiannon and James, alongside critical care paramedics Wishy, Viney and Josh.
Across the season, crews respond to a wide range of emergencies, including serious road crashes, sporting injuries, suspected heart attacks, drug overdoses and medical emergencies involving young children.
Other callouts include a motorcyclist with a suspected punctured lung and a teenager seriously injured in a dirt bike crash in remote bushland, while lighter moments and unexpected connections offer a different side of life on the job.
