Aussie chef Luke Nguyen is getting another FAST channel, with Samsung TV Plus bringing his food, travel and culture programs together for audiences across five markets.
Luke Nguyen’s World is now available on Samsung TV Plus in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, marking the service’s first local creator-led FAST channel.
The channel features more than 95 episodes across nine series, following the Australian-Vietnamese chef, restaurateur and television presenter as he explores food, culture and travel around the world.
In Australia, Nguyen’s television catalogue has been a long-running part of SBS’s programming, with series including Luke Nguyen’s Vietnam, Greater Mekong, Street Food Asia, Railway Vietnam and India available through SBS On Demand.

The launch gives Nguyen’s content another FAST home, following SBS’s launch of Planet Luke Nguyen on SBS On Demand in March 2024, a free 24-hour channel dedicated to his food and travel programs.
The launch comes as Samsung TV Plus continues to expand its creator-led offering, bringing established digital personalities and their existing programming into a traditional linear television environment.
The latest channels span food, lifestyle, sport, entertainment, news and science, with Samsung expanding the format across multiple international markets.
The service says it now has more than 100 million monthly active users globally, with almost 5,000 ad-supported linear channels available across 30 countries.
The latest expansion also includes Happy Place, Golf Life and JOE Media in the UK, while Mark Rober TV has launched in Brazil and Mexico. Samsung says the new partnerships form part of its broader expansion of creator-led programming across international markets.
For Samsung TV Plus, the move reflects the growing crossover between online creators and FAST television, giving established digital personalities another way to reach audiences through a free, ad-supported television service.
