Hard Quiz Kids will return to ABC in October, with Tom Gleeson back to put another group of junior contestants through four rounds of specialist trivia.
The new season will launch on ABC iview at 6am on Friday, October 9, before its television premiere on ABC Familyat 7.30pm on Saturday, October 10.
The Hard Quiz spin-off again features Gold Logie winner Tom Gleeson as host, with young contestants facing questions on their nominated areas of expertise.
This season’s specialist subjects include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Doctor Who, the London Underground, Wallace and Gromit, dinosaurs, black holes and Super Netball.
Across four rounds of trivia, the contestants will test their knowledge against Gleeson and each other, with the winner taking home the show’s Big Brass Mug.
The ABC says Gleeson will bring his familiar grumpy persona and humour to the spin-off as he grills the young experts on their chosen topics.
