Daddo, a television and podcast host, works with health-care providers and Amcal Pharmacists as the participating families explore common health and wellbeing challenges.

The families featured this season represent different generations and stages of life. They include time-poor parents managing careers and family responsibilities, grandparents who have no plans to slow down, and a content creator and beauty salon owner examining the relationship between inner health and outward appearance.

The series will also follow a former Australian cricketer and his family as they work towards balanced gut health.

According to Foxtel, the experiences are intended to demonstrate that looking after personal health does not have to be overwhelming, while providing practical information through the families’ experiences.

Alexandra HazlehurstHead of Narratv, DAZN Media+, said:

“At Foxtel, we strive to make content that enriches and entertains Australians from all walks of life.

Gen Well embodies that ambition, making conversations around health feel accessible, engaging and relevant.”

“With Ali’s warmth and curiosity at the heart of the series, supported by trusted health professionals, we hope viewers feel entertained, informed and inspired to think about their own wellbeing and that of their families.

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Amcal to deliver another engaging and impactful season to Australian audiences.”

Tony BassalyGeneral Manager of Franchise Brands, Amcal, said:

“It’s more important than ever to put health and wellbeing at the heart of conversations happening in Australian homes, and Gen Well brings those conversations to life in a way that feels relatable to everyday families.

It also showcases the importance of having trusted support along the way, particularly as we all navigate different health and wellbeing needs at different stages of life.”

“Our local Amcal Pharmacists are an important part of that support network, offering trusted health and wellbeing advice to Australians and their families, and helping them take those small, practical steps towards better wellbeing.

We’re proud to partner with Foxtel to help bring these important conversations into homes across Australia, inspiring families to take charge together.”
