Channel 7 quiz show The 1% Club Australia is on the hunt for its next contestants, with casting now open for a possible fifth season.

Hosted by comedian Jim Jefferies, the popular quiz show has already reportedly handed out more than $1 million in prize money, and the latest casting call is promising applicants the chance to become the newest member of the “very exclusive 1% Club”.

The casting call reads:

“With well over $1 million dollars already given away in prize money you could be our next winner of up to $100,000.”

“Apply now and get on track to have a crack at becoming the latest member of the very exclusive 1% Club AND have a fun few hours with Jim Jefferies.”

“It’s a win win really!”

Produced by BBC Studios Australia, the show has continued to perform well for Seven, with recent episodes also featuring themed editions including Ladies Night, Singles Night and Sports Night, as the network looks for new ways to put a spin on the format.

The UK version of the series also continues to rate well in primetime, while TV Blackbox understands there are still some new episodes of the Australian version yet to air.

The series is expected to be formally renewed by the network at its yet-to-be-announced Upfronts event later this year.
