Fetch TV announced on Wednesday a new partnership with internet provider Occom, expanding the reach of its entertainment platform through the growing broadband company.
The agreement will see Occom customers offered Fetch’s subscription TV services as an optional add on, bringing together free to air television, streaming apps, movies and games in one place without the need for a traditional TV antenna.
The partnership marks the first rollout of Fetch’s affiliate partner model, creating a new distribution channel through broadband providers. Fetch said it intends to extend the model to additional broadband and utility companies over time.

Occom, one of Australia’s fastest growing internet providers, offers nbn, fibre and mobile services and will promote exclusive Fetch offers to its residential broadband customers under the new agreement, while Fetch manages subscriptions, billing and customer support.
Fetch TV CEO Dominic Arena said the partnership represents a new distribution channel for the company, allowing it to expand its direct customer base while pairing its entertainment platform with Occom’s broadband services.
“We are excited to welcome Occom as our first live Affiliate Partner.”
“This represents an exciting new channel model for Fetch as we scale our distribution footprint and D2C customer base.”
Occom CEO Philip Luo said streaming had become a major part of customers’ everyday internet use, making the partnership a natural fit for the provider’s broadband offering.
“Entertainment streaming is a major part of our customers’ daily lives, and partnering with Fetch TV is a natural extension of our commitment to quality.”
The new partnership launches on Monday, 20 July.
