Seven is giving Commonwealth Games fans more ways than ever to follow the action, unveiling a major expansion of its 7plus coverage ahead of Glasgow 2026.
With less than a month until the Opening Ceremony, the broadcaster on Tuesday confirmed a 24/7 streaming experience built around 15 live channels, eight FAST replay channels and a range of new features designed to make following the Games easier across every device.
When live competition isn’t underway, dedicated replay channels will showcase everything from swimming and athletics to bowls and combat sports, alongside a Glasgow Glory channel featuring standout moments, Australian highlights and memorable performances from across the Games.

The expanded offering is also backed by a refreshed video on demand strategy, with every event available on replay alongside athlete profiles, explainers and original digital series including Glasgow Golden Moments, Aussies in Action, Glasgow Goofs and Your Morning Fix.
New features added to 7plus for the Games include live reminders, picture in picture viewing on mobile, improved live channel navigation on connected TVs and on demand markers highlighting key moments in replay content.
A dedicated Commonwealth Games Hub is also now live, bringing together athlete profiles, interviews and exclusive digital content in one place.
Seven’s Head of Commonwealth Games, Anna Stone, said the platform had been purpose built to give viewers more flexibility throughout the event.
“The platform improvements we’ve made aren’t cosmetic. They are designed to give fans real control over how, when andwhere they follow the Games.”
Seven’s Head of Sport Digital, Kirsty Bradmore, said the investment was designed to make following the Games as flexible as possible, whether viewers tuned in live or caught up later.
“We’ve invested heavily in the viewing experience.”
“The goal is to extend the life of overnight competition, capture viewers who missed the live action, and keep the Games front of mind throughout the day by delivering a flexible, personalised viewing experience built around convenience and discoverability because we know Australians don’t just want to watch the Games, they want to live them.”
Seven attracted around half of the national broadcast audience during the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022, while 7plus claimed a 60 per cent share of live streaming audiences, figures the broadcaster will be hoping to build on in Glasgow.
