So here we go with another hot take on Karl Stefanovic and his inglorious exit from Nine and The Today Show after 26 years, and, as a chaser, the alleged new NRL broadcast rights deal that will deliver the code a monster pay day for seven years and–honestly–changes nothing when it really could have.

Except extort the very cash-strapped and viewer-hungry broadcast companies.

Such is life in Australian TV, friends. Such is life.
