Held on the second day of the summit, the Exclusive Content Pitch gives successful applicants 10 minutes to present their project, followed by questions and discussion with the industry representatives who selected their project.
Animal Logic Entertainment Executive Vice President Felicity Staunton said:
“We’re beyond excited to connect with a new wave of unique Australian creators developing ideas across animation, live action and feature film.”
“Animal Logic Entertainment has always believed in encouraging ambitious projects that take big creative swings with global, commercial appeal.”
“Great stories start with meaningful collaborations, and we look forward to working together to share original Australian grown content with the world.”
ITV Plc Acquisitions Manager Tyler Martin said:
“Our primary focus at ITVX Kids is content for 6–12-year-olds, and we’re open to exploring projects across all genres, with the exception of educational programming. We know our audience responds best to shows that are bright, bold and fast-paced, with a cheeky, mischievous sense of humour.”
“We’re particularly looking for content that would sit comfortably alongside some of our most popular titles, including Mr Bean: The Animated Series, LEGO Ninjago, Scooby-Doo, Thunderbirds Are Go and Barbie. While our priority remains the 6–12 space, we would also consider preschool content if it’s based on a well-known and established IP.”
Roadshow Films’ Head of Australian Content Edwina Waddy said:
“Roadshow Films has had great success in connecting family audiences to local stories over many years. We’re looking for wide release family film ideas that will delight kids and adults alike and have the potential to become school holiday ‘must-see’ events.”
SLR Productions CEO and Australian Children’s Content Summit Founder Suzanne Ryan said:
“The Exclusive Content Pitch is one of the most valuable opportunities we offer creators because it goes beyond networking and puts projects directly in front of the people who can help bring them to life.”
“This year we’re welcoming an outstanding group of broadcasters, platforms, distributors, investors, co-producers and theatrical buyers from Australia and around the world, all actively seeking new children’s and family content.”
“We’re already seeing the impact of the Exclusive Content Pitch, with projects progressing into development and production and new partnerships formed over the past three years. We’re excited to build on that momentum in 2026.”
As the children’s and family content market continues to evolve, the Exclusive Content Pitch provides Australian creators with direct access to decision makers actively seeking new projects, acquisitions and partnerships.
Applications for this year’s Australian Children’s Content Summit 2026 Exclusive Content Pitch are now open and close on 15 July 2026 at midnight.
