In exciting news for sports fans, everyone’s favourite footy show, The Front Bar, is returning to South Australia, to celebrate the AFL’s Gather Round, on Wednesday, 3 April 2024 on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Going on the road for the second consecutive year, resident patrons Mick Molloy, Andy Maher and Sam Pang will kick-start happy hour at 8.30pm AEST, live from Adelaide Oval to open Seven’s Gather Round coverage, with all 7AFL commentators and hosts broadcasting live from South Australia.
Mick Molloy said:
“I loved Gather Round last year, but can I just say one thing: not enough football. I had nothing to do on Friday afternoon. Surely, we can fit 18 games in this time.”
Managing Director Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin said:
“The 2023 outside broadcast of The Front Bar at Adelaide Oval kicked off Gather Round in the best way possible, and we cannot wait to hit the ground running for a second consecutive year.”

The Front Bar kicks off a huge month for South Australians, ahead of Gather Round and followed by the highly anticipated Adelaide leg of LIV Golf – all live and free on Seven.
