Australian UFC stars Tai Tuivasa and Josh Culibao lead a stacked UFC Fight Night event from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, LIVE on ESPN this Sunday March 17.

A UFC heavyweight showdown headlines Sunday’s fight card at the UFC Apex when #9 ranked Tai Tuivasa faces #10 ranked contender Marcin Tybura.

Sunday’s UFC Fight Night: Tuivasa vs Tybura coverage begins at 7am AEDT with the UFC Fight Night: Tuivasa vs Tybura Prelims before the UFC Fight Night: Tuivasa vs Tybura Main Card follows LIVE at 10am AEDT on ESPN2.

Tai Tuivasa is looking to turn his UFC fortunes around having come off a defeat in his last fight against Alexander Volkov.

The Australian heavyweight has taken a break since being stopped at UFC 293 on home soil in September 2023. The time out of the Octagon has Tuivasa refreshed, as he attempts to climb back into the heavyweight championship picture once more.

Sunday’s opponent Marcin Tybura is also hoping to respond from defeat in his last trip to the Octagon – the Polish fighter was knocked out by current UFC Interim Heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall last July.

Tuivasa remains one of the most devastating finishers in the UFC and fight fans will remember his stunning knockout of Derrick Lewis, a sign of his potential.

Both Tuivasa (14) and Tybura (10) are among the elite in the UFC for their first-round finishes in the Octagon.

Tuivasa is joined on the UFC Fight Night card this Sunday by fellow Australian Josh Culibao.

Culibao will collide with featherweight Danny Silva on the UFC Fight Night: Tuivasa vs Tybura Prelim card.

The Australian featherweight has lost just once in his last five fights. Culibao suffered a points loss to tough Englishman Lerone Murphy and had built an impressive win streak before that setback.

Both Culiabo and Silva are known for their all-action style, ensuring a tough three-round featherweight clash.

Former UFC championship contender Ovince Saint Preux meets Nigeria’s Kennedy Nzechukwu and #6 ranked women’s bantamweight Pannie Kianzad faces #10 Macy Chiasson as part of an action packed event.
