Sports fans are gearing up for an epic two weekends of motorsport action, starting tomorrow with the Bathurst SuperFest, an event featuring the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 500, live and free across the screens of Seven.

Supercars driver and 7Motorsport presenter, Jack Perkins and leading motorsport broadcaster Chad Neylon will take viewers live to Mount Panorama for the entire 12-hour event on Sunday from 5.30am AEDT, following five hours of live coverage of the Top 10 Shootout and qualifying laps tomorrow afternoon, beginning at 12.30pm AEDT.

Four-time Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander will join the commentary team, broadcasting live from the track he knows so well, alongside motorsport expert Richard Craill and international voice of Sports Car racing John Hindhaugh.

This year’s Bathurst 12 Hour field includes 97 drivers from 18 different countries, including reigning Repco Bathurst 12 Hour winners, Kenny Habul, Jules Gounon and Luca Stolz who will aim for a Bathurst historic three-peat this weekend aboard their SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.

In a coup for fans, internationally acclaimed MotoGP World Champion, Valentino Rossi will also line up for the epic race, in his second attempt at claiming the Bathurst 12 Hour victory.

Returning to the mountain next week, Seven’s coverage of the Bathurst 500 will start on Saturday, 24 February from 1.00pm AEDT on 7mate and 7plus, before Sunday’s race day from 12.00pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Led by leading sports broadcaster and Sunrise’s Mark Beretta alongside Jack Perkins in his second consecutive week with Seven’s coverage, they will be met by a stellar Supercars broadcasting team with iconic drivers and fan favourites, Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife.

Seven Melbourne Managing Director and Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin, said:

“The Bathurst 12 Hour and 500 are two of the premier events on the Australian motorsport calendar and we can’t wait to deliver all the high-octane action to Australians this weekend, live and free on Seven and 7plus.”

“With 17 hours of live and free coverage across an epic weekend at Mount Panorama, followed by next weekend’s jam-packed Bathurst 500 broadcast, there is nowhere better to catch every exhilarating moment than right here on Seven, Your Home of Sport.”

Fans can tune in to the full broadcast live and free on Seven, 7mate and 7plus, while the full replay will be available as catch up on 7plus, along with Supercars highlights, docos and other bonus motorsport content.
