  1. When the intellectual challenge for the politicians to improve the plight of the polis becomes too much, or where the elected find they are idiots, they tend to focus upon themselves. This means self power instead of expertise. It means a lack of ability to do the job. Hence Nemesis. A long drawn out excercise in emotional masturbation about power instead of achievement.
