TV Blackbox can reveal the person set to join Julia Morris in the jungle next year.

Channel 10 has found its new co-host to replace Dr Chris Brown, according to trusted sources.

Brown left I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! at the end of the 2023 season, bound for Channel 7, where he will host a new reality TV show called Dream Home.

His replacement is said to be wildlife warrior Robert Irwin.

The choice is a surprising one but makes a lot of sense due to the use of wild animals in challenges.

Robert recently honed his presenting skills filling in for Sam Mac as the Sunrise weatherman, delighting fans and impressing TV executives.

As previously reported, names including Pete Helliar, Joel Creasey and Beau Ryan had all been rumoured to be in the running for the high-profile hosting gig.

When contacted by TV Blackbox a Network 10 spokesperson said:

“Any announcements regarding our program schedule for 2024 will be made at our intimate Upfronts presentations.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will return to Channel 10 in 2024.

  1. That’s an excellent choice I think
So nice for some fresh talent, not the same catalogue of Channel 10 personalities getting all the same jobs,
really great to see some fresh faces on the tv and makes perfect sense given the style of the show
