Recognised as one of the greatest winners of all time, Tim Dormer came back with an elevated strategy and a ‘no regret’s attitude.
Tim Dormer joined Rob McKnight on the TV Blackbox podcast to discuss his wild and sometimes unbelievable gameplay, working with fellow OGs, feuding with Estelle Landy, and experiencing a format unlike any other.
As a returning winner, one would think Tim would return to Big Brother with a big target, but his heightened strategy from the beginning catapulted him far in the game, becoming the last housemate to even be nominated for eviction (until this week).
Having also played Big Brother Canada, Tim had an advantage over his opponents by tasting a different version of the game, and playing with a naturally strategic format.
Since filming, Tim and Estelle have since had a tumultuous relationship that’s played out in a big way on social media.
Asked whether he understood Estelle’s perspective and hurt feelings, Tim defended his comments on social media, and said he was equally hurt by some of her actions.
He said:
“If we’ve lost a beautiful friendship because of that game then that game wasn’t worth it.”
“I’d love to reconcile with her… You can have conflict with people in your life, you can have different opinions, but that doesn’t mean that if you don’t agree with someone that you should remove them from your life.”
“I hope me and Estelle can agree to disagree, and sort of break bread together.”
