Tonight Jules fell victim to the Big Brother intruder curse, but she joined TV Blackbox to talk strategy, mental health in the game, and whether the criticism against Estelle is unfair.
Jules was adopted as an OG almost immediately after stepping foot in the Big Brother house as an intruder, but after a shocking twist gave Tim and Brenton complete power over the eviction, she was sent packing.
In this interview, Jules chats about the struggles intruders face in the game, why she was gunning for Reggie, the effects of reality TV on mental health, and whether it is truly possible to play a game lead by your heart.
The dichotomy of the head vs heart players has been a focal point on this season of Big Brother, particularly between Tim, Drew, and Jules’ closest ally, Estelle. There have been multiple confrontations between the trio, clashing on their style of gameplay.
Former housemate, Layla Subritzky, even got involved.
In a now deleted tweet, Tim drew comparisons between Estelle and Amber Heard, after her infamous court battle with former husband, Johnny Depp, and allegations of abuse.
“Estelle definitely played with her heart, trust me, it was almost to our demise.”
Speaking about the criticism she has been receiving from other housemates, such as Tim, Jules said:
“I think it’s been unfair… they’re probably like “you don’t have a heart”, she has a heart, just not for you.”
