Netflix’s latest epic World War II drama explodes onto screens this November.

Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, four of America’s top College Football stars set their fame aside to enlist in the Marines. As they prepare for the brutal invasion of Okinawa, they’ll play in a legendary game featuring some of the greatest players in history – a game that, for many, will be the last they ever play. The film is made by Peter Berg, and stars Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson, and Tom Francis.

THE MOSQUITO BOWL was filmed in Australia, including locations in Queensland and northern New South Wales. The Australian landscape stood in for several locations in the film, from Marine training grounds to the Pacific Theatre. When production began, Berg called Queensland’s landscapes “cinematic gold — perfect for bringing this story to life.”

The film is supported by the Australian Government through the Location Offset, the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy, and the City of Gold Coast.
