Seven and Nine locked in an arm wrestle as the average audience slams into the mid-200’s.

60 Minutes (430,000) lifts on last week’s royalty-affected effort for Nine, however it is not a competitor in primetime and lands in a distant third. Depp v Heard (281,000) draws in a reasonable follow on audience, however it was the repeat of MOVIE: Top Gun (279,000) that delivered the best bang for buck in the later night. The First 48 (109,000) finished the schedule best.
Nine first in both primary (19.6%) and network (28.3%) rankings.

7News Spotlight (533,000) is at its most competitive when it delivers original stories like it did in this situation. Border Security (339,000) benefits and holds its own, though a repeat of MOVIE: The Martian (148,000) didn’t capture much attention. The late night first-run of The Blacklist (37,000) had PVRs whirring.
Seven second in both primary (18.4%) and network (25.9%) rankings.

10’s nights continue to be up and down. The Sunday Project (241,000 6:30pm; 368,000 7pm) up slightly on last week though down on normal Sundays. MasterChef Australia (552,000) the clear primetime winner, however a new ep of NCIS: Hawaii (251,000) and a repeat of FBI (135,000) capture some but not enough audience attention.
10 third in both primary (15.5%) and network (22.3%) rankings.

Grand Designs (368,000) by far the ABC’s best, as the season finale of Barons (101,000) limps to the finish line. Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? (129,000) sees a lift (and a big lift in Total TV from last week), and a repeat of Harrow (53,000) keeps few entertained in the late night.
ABC fourth in both primary (10.4%) and network (14.7%) rankings.

SBS’s night was unusually small, with Voices from the Dead (120,000), Dagger in the Cathedral of Florence (96,000), and a repeat of Heliopolis: The City of the Sun (61,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.7%) and network (8.8%) rankings.
