Commercial primetime TV is a total minefield.

A Current Affair (682,000) is by far Nine’s best, mainly because Celebrity Apprentice Australia (400,000) lifts slightly though remains deep in third place in primetime. Million Dollar Murders (230,000) ticks up on last week and then the night splits based on state-supporting footy code: Footy Classified (79,000 MEL/ADL/PER) or 100% Footy (43,000 BNE/SYD).
Nine first in both primary (18.5%) and network (25.7%) rankings.

The Project (270,000 6:30pm; 406,000 7pm) lifts (necessarily) with the weekday team for 10. MasterChef Australia (555,000) ticks up from Sunday and again lands in second place in no small part because Have You Been Paying Attention? (658,000) is a ratings magnet, even in the later night, and yet even it can’t save 10’s position across the evening. The season finale and then repeat of FBI: Most Wanted (230,000; 136,000) fills out the schedule.
10 second in primary (16.1%) and third in network (22.6%) rankings.

Home & Away (478,000) leads the night for Seven, with Big Brother (294,000) drops significantly, landing in a distant fourth place. A double 9-1-1 (155,000; 130,000) does generally acceptable business in the later and late night.
Seven third in primary (15.8%) and second in network (25.4%) rankings.

Another strong Monday for the ABC, leading with 7:30 (665,000) and Australian Story (532,000) which slides neatly into first place in primetime (again!). Four Corners (415,000) and Media Watch (423,000) both down on last week while India Now (201,000) premieres to some interest. A repeat of Q+A (46,000) adds some much needed support.
ABC fourth in both primary (13.8%) and network (18.3%) rankings.

SBS line up Saving Lives At Sea (115,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (144,000), and a repeat of 737 Max: Ten Mistakes (73,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.1%) and network (8%) rankings.
