After previously being available On Demand, the Icelandic crime drama Stella Blomkvist will get its free-to-air premiere tonight on SBS.
Heida Reed (Poldark) stars as Stella Blomkvist, a sexy, hard-nosed and quick-witted lawyer with a dark past, fluid sexuality and a taste for whiskey and easy money.
Her cases always lead to danger and her latest will plunge her into a violent political conspiracy.

A murder is committed inside the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Stella’s former client is caught red handed over the body. The victim is the young assistant to the Prime Minister and the police is in no doubt as to how things went down.
Stella decides to take on the case and is determined to figure out exactly what happened. It doesn’t take long until powerful individuals have started to meddle in the case.
