The ABC and Screen Australia are delighted to announce that Flower & Flour has been greenlit for a second season. Seven-year-old Flower and her best feline friend Flour will return for more imaginative adventures, plenty of laughs and be joined by some new faces in their much-loved plaza crew.

Flower & Flour is the number 1 premiere commissioned series for ABC Children & Family in 2026, with season 1 averaging a total audience of over 1 million per episode across ABC TV and ABC iview[1].

Flower & Flour is a celebration of imagination and finding fun wherever you are. An ordinary afternoon becomes an urban safari – a blistering summer’s day becomes the perfect excuse for an imaginative snow day, a simple cure for hiccups spirals hilariously out of control, and banning the word “bro” causes more chaos than anyone could have imagined!

Whether they’re learning to share, missing a grandparent, or helping save the Festival of Holi, one thing is for sure, Flower & Flour always find a way with perseverance, creativity, and a little help from family and friends.

Creator Dan Mansour said:

“I’m so thrilled at the response for season 1, with kids and their families across Australia embracing the wonderful world of Flower & Flour.”

“And now we’re whipping up another 39 episodes filled with fun times, heaps of heart and a whole lot of cheekiness! The dream is real!”

Patrick Egerton, Executive Producer & CCO at Cheeky Little Media said:

“It feels like we’ve launched into season 2 with massive momentum after such a strong debut for season 1.”

“This is a beautiful, authentic and funny show, with characters you love spending time with, so the stories just keep flowing.”

“Creator Dan Mansour and Cheeky Little Media have created a warm and playful world that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of our Australian community and inspires wonder in little viewers and their families across the globe.”

“Congratulations to all co-production partners and commissioners and we look forward to joining Flower, Flour and the crew on their next adventures!”
