Apple TV has released a first look at the sixth season of Slow Horses, with a collection of new images offering an early glimpse at Gary Oldman’s return as MI5 outcast Jackson Lamb.
The six episode season is adapted from Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron’s acclaimed Slough House book series, and follows the team as they become caught up in a dangerous cycle of retaliation and revenge.
Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run after Diana Taverner draws them into a high stakes conflict, forcing the intelligence misfits into another mission where the consequences could prove fatal.

Oldman is joined by returning cast members Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce and Hugo Weaving.
BAFTA TV Award winner Lenny Rush joins the ensemble for the new season, which continues the darkly comic spy thriller’s mix of workplace dysfunction, intelligence operations and political intrigue.
Slow Horses has become one of Apple’s most acclaimed dramas, earning Emmy and BAFTA recognition while maintaining strong critical support across its five seasons to date.
The first five seasons of Slow Horses are streaming now.
