Fetch TV and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) today announced a significant expansion of their long-standing partnership in Australia, headlined by the official launch of the HBO Max app on the Fetch platform.
The expanded deal includes the debut of the HBO Max streaming app on Fetch Gen4 and Gen5 devices, alongside a multi-year renewal of WBD’s extensive portfolio of premium TV channels. The agreement introduces new and returning channels to the platform available now, further cementing Fetch’s position as Australia’s leading value entertainment streaming service.
HBO Max Arrives on Fetch
Starting today, Fetch customers on Gen4 and Gen5 devices can access the HBO Max app directly from their home screen. Users can sign in to their HBO Max account, or subscribe to HBO Max, to enjoy a world-class library of iconic series, blockbuster movies, and exclusive content including:
- HBO Originals like A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Euphoria, House of the Dragon, DTF St. Louis, Rooster, The Last of Us, The White Lotus and the upcoming first season of the new HBO Original Harry Potter series, titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (debuting Christmas 2026).
- Hit Max Originals including The Pitt and And Just Like That….
- Blockbuster franchises and movies, such as the Harry Potter film collection, the DC Universe and award-winning titles like One Battle After Another and Sinners
- Global favourites like Friends, Rick and Morty and The Big Bang Theory
- Captivating factual and entertainment programmes like Aussie Gold Hunters, Outback Opal Hunters, Deadliest Catch and more

WBD Channel Partnership Renewal and Expansion

These channels are available in Fetch’s market-leading affordable content subscription packs, via the Fetch Mini hub, Fetch Mighty PVR and the Fetch Mobi companion app on iOS or Android, offering viewers the best in factual, lifestyle, and reality programming through one simple platform that brings together free-to-air, subscription and streaming services.
