Two winning MasterChef Australia creations are making the move from the TV kitchen to supermarket freezers, with Coles once again bringing a taste of the competition to customers.
Pat McGarry’s Salted Caramel & Bickie Crumble Ice Cream and Hannah Johnson’s Cheeseburger Pie are now available in selected Coles stores nationwide after taking out Curtis Stone’s Mystery Box challenge during Aussie Classics Week.
The products were created when Stone challenged contestants to put their own spin on either a pie or an ice cream, with the winning dishes earning both immunity from elimination and a place on Coles shelves.
Hannah’s Cheeseburger Pie, served with potato chips, and Pat’s Salted Caramel & Bickie Crumble Ice Cream, plated with apple pie, impressed the judges and secured victory in the challenge.

Tamar Hovagimian, Director of National Advertising Partnerships at Paramount Australia, said the long-running partnership between Coles and MasterChef Australia continues to evolve with new opportunities for viewers to engage with the program beyond the screen.
“After 18 seasons, we wanted to up the ante and offer consumers a complete meal experience direct from the MasterChef kitchen – Hannah’s Pie and Pat’s Ice Cream.”
Coles Head of Sponsorships and Events Carmel Horvath said the retailer was excited to release two products this year after last season’s limited edition MasterChef ice cream sold out within days.
“It’s a great way for Australians to recreate a little bit of the MasterChef experience at home.”
The limited edition products are available in selected Coles stores from today, Monday 8 June, while stocks last.
Made a special visit today to Coles at Crows Nest to purchase Pat’s salted caramel ice cream. Spent 15 odd minutes trying to find it only to be told they were getting it in tomorrow. Not very happy and most disappointing.
