Just months after farewelling Network 10, well known Melbourne journalist and presenter Candice Wyatt has resurfaced at another major Australian news network.
Just months after departing Network 10 following a 15 year run with the broadcaster, Wyatt has revealed she has signed on as a casual presenter at Sky News Australia, already fronting hours of live rolling coverage during her first shifts on air.
The move marks Wyatt’s first television presenting role since exiting the 10 News Melbourne newsroom late last year, where she had become a familiar face to viewers across both the studio and the field.

Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Wyatt said the fast paced environment had already seen her handling major international developments, including breaking coverage tied to the White House shooting and reports of a possible peace deal between the United States and Iran.
Wyatt said the unpredictable format was exactly the kind of broadcasting she thrives on.
“Unscripted, pertinent and reactive.. this style of news delivery feeds my soul.”
She also thanked Sky News Head of News Elise Holman and longtime Sky executive Todd Nardi for bringing her onboard, while praising the wider team behind the national news operation.
Images shared by Wyatt show her presenting Newsnight, part of Sky News Australia’s evening rolling news coverage which airs around the channel’s primetime opinion lineup.

Alongside her return to television, Wyatt revealed she has also been working with veteran news executive Steve Carey through media consultancy company MaximComms, delivering broadcast training services to major Australian companies and leadership teams.
Wyatt spent 15 years with Network 10, working across senior reporting, crime reporting and presenting roles, including a stint alongside Stephen Quartermain on the Melbourne anchor desk before later returning to reporting duties following a newsroom restructure.
Her departure from 10 last year marked the end of a significant chapter for one of Melbourne’s most recognisable television journalists, with Wyatt saying at the time she was ready for “a new chapter and new challenges”.
Why did they get ritt of her and kept those 2 on 10 news plus.
Candice quit because she wasn’t happy producing, and the network couldn’t guarantee her a consistent presenting gig. Because of this, she quit. The network didn’t get rid of her; she chose to leave
Poor bugger.
What a humiliating drop to end up on that trash fake news network.
Is there a gofundme instead?
