The Tasmania JackJumpers and Melbourne United head into a crucial NBL Championship Game Four live Thursday on ESPN.

The JackJumpers are one win away from a first NBL championship after taking a 2-1 NBL Championship series lead in an amazing Game Three on Sunday.

In one of the most thrilling NBL games in history, the JackJumpers prevailed 93-91, thanks to a mid-court game winning shot from Jack McVeigh in the final seconds.

A win in Tasmania on Thursday night would crown the JackJumpers champions, whilst Melbourne United must win to send the NBL Championship series to a deciding Game Five.

Thursday’s NBL Championship Game Four between the Tasmania JackJumpers and Melbourne United is LIVE on ESPN at 7.30pm AEDT.

Melbourne United will have quite the job ahead of them, prolonging the NBL Championship series on the road in Tasmania.

JackJumpers star Jack McVeigh was the hero on Sunday, leading Tasmania with 18 points. Majok Deng also made the most of his minutes, chipping in with 15 points off the bench.

Melbourne United will look to star pairing Matt Dellavedova and Chris Goulding once again to keep the NBL Championship series alive.

Dellavedova was United’s best in Game Three, scoring 21 with eight assists and Goulding once again put-up solid numbers, scoring 17.

United will have to be at their very best to overcome Tasmania at the fortress that is MyState Bank Arena.

The JackJumpers have won two of their last three matches at home against Melbourne and three of the last four head-to-head – including Game Two and Three of this NBL Championship Series.

If United are successful on Thursday evening, the NBL Championship Series will move to a deciding Game Five on Sunday March 31 at 4pm AEDT, LIVE on ESPN.
