PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

The final of this season of Australian Idol (955,000 avg) (lw 860k) delivered a season high for Seven but it was nothing compared to the explosive final dinner party on Nine’s Married At First Sight (1,599,000 avg) (lw 1.588m). Over on 10, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia (565,000 avg) plugged away with it’s second episode of the tenth season in the franchise and started its week-long slide.

The commercial 7pm offerings remained consistent week-on-week:
A Current Affair (1,081,000 avg) on Nine
Home and Away (829,000 avg) on Seven
The Project (338,000 avg) (6:30pm-7:30pm) on 10.

It’s current affairs night on the ABC, lead with the 7:30 (790,000 avg) (lw 692k)/Australian Story (678,000 avg) (lw 675k) double doing good business, followed by 4 Corners (583,000 avg) (lw 606k), Media Watch (646,000 avg) (lw 608k), and the still struggling Q+A (309,000 avg) (lw 270k).

Later primetime continued the primetime standard:
My Wife The Abuser (659,000 avg) on Nine
Ron Iddles: The Good Cop (514,000 avg) on Seven
repeat of FBI: Most Wanted (175,000 avg) (lw 185k) on 10.
