SKY NEWS launches new original YouTube program, Power Hour with Gabriella Power

Sky News Australia has launched a new program as part of its strategy to produce digital-only content to its growing online and mobile audience.

Power Hour, a new Sky News Digital Originals production only available on Sky News Australia’s YouTube channel, premieres each Thursday – giving viewers a deep dive into the world’s top headlines, breaking news as well as spotlighting heartwarming human-interest stories.

Laser-focused on the pressing issues captivating global attention, key topics explored during Power Hour will include the pivotal 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, the future of the British monarchy and ongoing conflicts in Europe and the Middle East.

Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power will host the weekly series, featuring solo interviews and panel discussions with experts spanning the political spectrum.

Gabriella, who joined Sky News in 2017 as an on-air Reporter, was promoted in October 2023 to lead the Digital Originals productions including digital news bulletins and long-form online documentaries.
