“Constellation” – global premiere

A new eight-part, conspiracy-based psychological thriller drama starring Noomi Rapace and Emmy Award nominee Jonathan Banks, and created and written by Peter Harness.

“Constellation” stars Rapace as Jo – an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space — only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The action-packed space adventure is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all that she has lost.

Directed by Emmy Award winner Michelle MacLaren, Oscar nominee Oliver Hirschbiegel, and Oscar nominee Joseph Cedar, “Constellation” also stars James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukowa, and introducing Rosie and Davina Coleman as Alice.

The first three episodes of “Constellation” are now available to stream on Apple TV+, and new episodes premiere Wednesdays.

“Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend” – new docuseries

“Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend” is a new four-part docuseries that highlights the thrilling story of the planet’s top living athlete as well as that of his loyal supporters across Argentina and those who made the pilgrimage across the globe.

The series also features the most personal interviews to date with Messi, alongside conversations with teammates, coaches, competitors, devout fans and commentators testifying to the incredible influence and impact he has on a nation and world stage, along with the grace, fortitude and willpower he has exhibited throughout his career.

The docuseries charts the dramatic path from his first match with the Argentina national football team to carrying the weight of a country on his shoulders through several elusive World Cup wins, leading to his early retirement in 2016 and, ultimately, the comeback to become a FIFA World Cup champion and be crowned the 2022 tournament’s best player.

“Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend” is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Tim Pastore (“Free Solo,” “Jane”), Emmy and Tony Award winners Patrick Milling Smith and Brian Carmody, and Emmy Award winner Matt Renner (“Free Solo,” “Limitless with Chris Hemsworth”) of SMUGGLER Entertainment, alongside Jenna Millman (“The Dropout,” “Tiger”) and Juan Camilo Cruz (“City of Ghosts,” “In Her Hands”). The series is produced for Apple by SMUGGLER Entertainment and in association with Pegsa.

“Earthsounds” – global premiere

Filmed over 1,000 days across three and half years, “Earthsounds” reveals our planet like never before – a world buzzing with unexpected, unfamiliar and untold sonic stories that we have never been able to capture – until now. The series documents over 3,000 hours of audio, using cutting-edge technology to record our planet in brand-new ways.

Filmed across 20 countries on all seven continents, “Earthsounds” travels to spectacular habitats, including the Queensland rainforest, the Antarctic ice shelf, the Namibian dunes, tropical coral reefs and more.

Discoveries and rarely heard recordings from the series include snow leopards singing love songs, the intimate chatter of ostrich chicks from inside their eggs, musical spiders, walrus’s underwater courtship calls and more.

But it’s not just animals that make unusual noises; the series also captures the mesmerising secret sounds of our planet, including the hum of deserts, drinking trees, and the mysterious buzz of the Northern Lights.

“Earthsounds” is produced by the award-winning team at Offspring Films and executive produced by Alex Williamson and Isla Robertson. Sam Hodgson is the series producer, and the series director is Tom Payne. “Earthsounds” is the second collaboration between Offspring Films and Apple TV+, following four-time BAFTA Award-nominated “Earth at Night in Colour.”

“Earthsounds” premieres all episodes Friday, 23 February on Apple TV+.

“The New Look” – new episode

A gripping, new historical drama series from Todd A. Kessler, and led by an ensemble cast that features Emmy Award winner Ben Mendelsohn as ‘Christian Dior’; Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche as ‘Coco Chanel’; Maisie Williams as ‘Catherine Dior’; John Malkovich as ‘Lucien Lelong’; Emily Mortimer as ‘Elsa Lombardi’ and Claes Bang as ‘Spatz.’ Inspired by true events and filmed exclusively in Paris, “The New Look” centres on fashion designers Christian Dior, Coco Chanel and their contemporaries as they navigated the horrors of World War II and launched modern fashion.

Set against the World War II Nazi occupation of Paris, “The New Look” focuses on the pivotal moment in the twentieth century when the French city led the world back to life through its fashion icon Christian Dior. As Dior rises to prominence with his groundbreaking, iconic imprint of beauty and influence, Chanel’s reign as the world’s most famous fashion designer is put into jeopardy. The interwoven saga follows the surprising stories of Dior’s contemporaries and rivals from Chanel to Pierre Balmain, Cristóbal Balenciaga and more; and, provides a stunning view into the atelier, designs and clothing created by Christian Dior through collaboration with the House of Dior.

“The New Look” is produced by Apple Studios and DB-AK Productions, and is written, executive produced and directed by Kessler. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Baker also serve as executive producers.

In this week’s new episode, “What a Difference,” after Paris is liberated by Allied Troops, Nazi collaborators face punishment—including Coco. Christian is conflicted about ever designing again.

“Criminal Record” – season finale

“Criminal Record” is an eight-episode Apple Original crime thriller starring Academy Award and BAFTA winner Peter Capaldi (“Doctor Who,” “The Thick of It”), and Laurence Olivier Award and Critics Choice Award nominee Cush Jumbo (“The Good Wife,” “The Good Fight,” “The Beast Must Die”) as detectives in a tug of war over a high-profile murder case.

From BAFTA Award nominee Paul Rutman (“Vera,” “Indian Summers”), “Criminal Record” is a powerful, character-driven drama set in the heart of contemporary London. An anonymous phone call draws two brilliant detectives into a confrontation over an old murder case – one a young woman in the early stages of her career, the other a well-connected man determined to protect his legacy.

The series touches on issues of race, institutional failure and the quest to find common ground in a polarised Britain.

“Criminal Record” is produced for Apple TV+ by Tod Productions and STV Studios, and executive produced by BAFTA Scotland Award winner Elaine Collins, Rutman, Capaldi and Jumbo. The series is directed by BAFTA Award winner Jim Loach  and Shaun James Grant.

“Masters of the Air” – new episode

Reuniting the award-winning team of Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman who also produced “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific,” “Masters of the Air” is an action-packed drama that follows the true story of an American bomber group in World War II.

Based on Donald L. Miller’s book of the same name, and scripted by John Orloff, “Masters of the Air” follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air.

Portraying the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich, is at the heart of “Masters of the Air.” Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was exacted on them all.

Hailing from Apple Studios, the series is executive produced by Spielberg, Hanks and Goetzman, and features a stellar cast led by Academy Award nominee Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Rafferty Law, Academy Award nominee Barry Keoghan, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook, and Ncuti Gatwa.

In this week’s new episode, Rosie and his crew are sent to rest at a country estate. Crosby meets an intriguing British officer at Oxford. Egan faces the essence of Nazi evil.

The sixth episode of “Masters of the Air” debuts Friday, 23 February on Apple TV+.

“Napoleon” – streaming premiere

“Napoleon” is an Academy and BAFTA-Award nominated spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, played by Oscar-winner Joaquin Phoenix.

Against a stunning backdrop of large-scale filmmaking orchestrated by legendary director Ridley Scott, the film captures Bonaparte’s relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his one true love, Josephine (played by Vanessa Kirby), showcasing his visionary military and political tactics against some of the most dynamic practical battle sequences ever filmed.

Directed by Scott from a screenplay by David Scarpa, “Napoleon” is an Apple Studios production in conjunction with Scott Free Productions. The feature is produced by Scott, Kevin Walsh, Mark Huffam and Phoenix, with Michael Pruss and Aidan Elliott serving as executive producers.

Following its global theatrical run, “Napoleon” will make its debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, 1 March.

“The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin”

“The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin,” is a new, six-episode comedy-adventure series starring Noel Fielding (“The Mighty Boosh,” “The Great British Bake Off”) in the titular role as the legendary British highwayman.

Dick Turpin (Fielding) sets out on a journey of wildly absurd escapades when he’s made the reluctant leader of a band of outlaws — and tasked with outwitting corrupt lawman and self-appointed Thief Taker Jonathan Wilde (Hugh Bonneville). In this irreverent retelling set in the 18th century, Dick is the most famous but least likely of highway robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship, and great hair. Together with his gang of lovable rogues, Dick rides the highs and lows of his new endeavours, including a brush with celebrity, all whilst trying to escape the clutches of the Thief Taker.

“The Reluctant Traveller With Eugene Levy” – season two

After confronting some of his long-held fears in season one, Emmy Award winner Eugene Levy steps out of his comfort zone once again. This time, he’s embarking on a ‘must do’ journey for any respectable globetrotter – a grand tour of Europe.

The seven-part second season of the acclaimed country-hopping travel series follows Levy as he makes his way from the very north of the continent to the very south. Along the way, he unearths stunning hidden local gems, discovers his family tree and attempts to broaden his taste buds while experiencing the region’s most unique destinations along the way. Join him as he goes on the trip of a lifetime he never knew he needed.

In the second season of wayfaring travel series, “The Reluctant Traveller With Eugene Levy,” Levy ventures even further off the beaten path, inspired to experience local practices and global escapades with friends both new and old, including preparing for Midsummer in Swedish tradition with a moose tracking adventure, visiting for the first time the land of his mother’s childhood – Scotland, dining with a luminary and taking a bite out of French cuisine in Saint-Tropez, embracing wellness with a ‘hay bath’ under German thatched roofs on the island of Sylt, voyaging on a Greek fishing expedition around Milos, learning medieval customs and harvesting grapes in Italy and playing soccer with an iconic Spanish star in Seville, Spain.

The second season of “The Reluctant Traveller With Eugene Levy” will premiere with the first two episodes on Friday, 8 March, with additional episodes to debut each week through Friday, 12 April.

“Manhunt” – new limited series

Created by Emmy nominee Monica Beletsky, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer,  “Manhunt” is an upcoming, seven-part true crime limited series starring Emmy Award-winning actor Tobias Menzies (“The Crown,” “Game of Thrones,” “Outlander”), and based on The New York Times bestselling and Edgar Award-winning non-fiction book from author James L. Swanson.

“Manhunt” will debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes airing on Friday, 15 March, and episodes will debut weekly on Fridays through 19 April.

“Palm Royale”

“Palm Royale” is a new Palm Beach-set series starring Emmy and Academy Award nominee Kristen Wiig alongside a renowned ensemble cast that includes Oscar and Emmy winners Laura Dern and Allison Janney join Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy and Kaia Gerber. With extra special guest star turns by the legendary Bruce Dern and the iconic, multiple-award winning Carol Burnett.

“Palm Royale” makes its global debut on Apple TV+, premiering the first three episodes on Wednesday, 20 March, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through 8 May.

“Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” – season two

In the second season of the Emmy Award-winning series, “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock,” the reboot of Jim Henson’s beloved classic “Fraggle Rock,” the Fraggles are back for more epic, fun adventures! This time, with big changes affecting the Rock, the Fraggles, Doozers and Gorgs will be forced to confront their past and celebrate their interdependence, as they move through challenges together with hope, silliness and brand new songs, all while dancing their cares away … down at Fraggle Rock.

Season two of “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” premieres globally on Friday, 29 March.

“Loot” – season two

“Loot” returns for season two a year after Molly Wells’ (Maya Rudolph) very public divorce from tech billionaire John Novak (Adam Scott), where we find her thriving in her role as the head of her philanthropic organisation, the Wells Foundation. Focused mainly on her charity work, Molly has sworn off any new relationships with any new men. Fabulously single but not particularly independent, Molly’s trusty assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster) remains by her side, diligently catering to her every whim…and occasionally feeding her a kale smoothie spiked with gin.

“Loot” season two will debut with two episodes on Wednesday, 3 April, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through 29 May.

“Sugar”

Starring Academy Award-nominee Colin Farrell, “Sugar” is new a contemporary, unique take on one of the most popular and significant genres in literary, motion picture, and television history: the private detective story.

“Sugar” will make its global debut with the first two episodes on Friday, 5 April on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday.

“Girls State” – Sundance Film Festival Selection

Directed and produced by award-winning filmmakers Jesse Moss and Amanda McBaine, and Academy Award winner Davis Guggenheim’s Concordia Studio, the documentary follows 500 teenage girls from across Missouri gather for a week-long immersion in an elaborate laboratory of democracy, where they build a government from the ground up, campaign for office and form a Supreme Court to weigh the most divisive issues of the day.

Following its widely celebrated and acclaimed debut at the Sundance Film Festival, “Girls State” makes its global debut Friday, 5 April on Apple TV+.

“Franklin” – new limited series

Starring and executive produced by Academy, Emmy and AFI Lifetime Achievement Award winner Michael Douglas, and based on Pulitzer Prize winner Stacy Schiff’s book, “A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America,” “Franklin” is a new limited series that explores the thrilling story of the greatest gamble of Benjamin Franklin’s career. In December 1776, Franklin is world famous for his electrical experiments, but his passion and power are put to the test when – as the fate of American independence hangs in the balance – he embarks on a secret mission to France.

“Franklin” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes of its eight-episode season on Friday, 12 April, followed by one new episode every Friday through 17 May.

 “The Big Door Prize” – season two

Based on M.O. Walsh’s novel, “The Big Door Prize” season two follows the residents of Deerfield as the Morpho machine readies them for the mysterious “next stage.” As everyone’s potentials are exchanged for visions, new relationships form and new questions are asked. Dusty and Cass decide to take time apart while Trina (Amara) and Jacob (Fourlas) learn that they can shed their old labels. Giorgio and Izzy each find romance while Hana and Father Reuben attempt to discover the purpose of the machine. The small town is once again left questioning what they thought they knew about their lives, relationships, potentials, and about the Morpho itself. 

Season two premieres globally on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, 24 April with three episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through 19 June.

 “Acapulco” – season three

In season three of “Acapulco,” the hit bilingual Apple Original comedy series starring and executive produced by Emmy and SAG-Award winner Eugenio Derbez, it’s time to reconcile past mistakes and exciting new beginnings. In the present story, older Maximo (Derbez) finds himself returning to a Las Colinas he no longer recognises. While in 1985, younger Maximo (Enrique Arrizon) continues his climb up the ladder of success while potentially jeopardising all the relationships he’s worked so hard to build.

“Acapulco” season three premieres globally with the first two episodes of its 10-episode season on Wednesday, 1 May, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through 26 June.

“Dark Matter”

“Dark Matter” is a  nine-episode, sci-fi thriller based on the blockbuster book by acclaimed, bestselling author Blake Crouch, and starring Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley.

“Dark Matter” makes its global debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, 8 May with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through 26 June.

“Trying” – season four

“Trying” is Apple’s heartwarming critically acclaimed comedy starring BAFTA Award-nominee Esther Smith and SAG Award-nominee Rafe Spall. In this exciting new season, we fast-forward six years, discovering that Nikki (Smith) and Jason (Spall) are experienced adopters having built a lovely little nuclear family, enriched by an extraordinary support network.

“Trying” returns to Apple TV+ for its fourth season on Wednesday, 22 May with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through 3 July.

“Presumed Innocent”

“Presumed Innocent” is a new eight-episode limited series starring and executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal, hailing from David E. Kelley and executive producer J.J. Abrams, and based on The New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Scott Turow.

“Presumed Innocent” will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, 14 June, followed by a new episode every Friday through 26 July.

“Land of Women”

“Land of Women” is a new six-episode dramedy shot in both English and Spanish starring Golden Globe nominee Eva Longoria, who also serves as executive producer, alongside legendary film and television star Carmen Maura.

“Land of Women” will make its global debut on Apple TV+ this winter.

“Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin” – new Peanuts special

The origin story for one of Peanuts’ most beloved characters, Franklin, follows how he approaches making new friends. Franklin’s family is always on the move with his dad’s military job, and everywhere he goes Franklin finds support in a notebook filled with his grandfather’s advice on friendship. But when Franklin tries his usual strategies with the Peanuts gang, he has trouble fitting in. That’s until he learns about the neighbourhood Soap Box Derby race – according to his grandfather, everyone loves a winner! He’s sure that winning the race will also mean winning over some new friends. All he needs is a partner, which he finds in Charlie Brown. Franklin and Charlie Brown work together to build a car and in the process become good buddies. But as the race nears, the pressure mounts – can their car and their newfound friendship make it to the finish line?

“Killers of the Flower Moon” – now streaming

Following its widely acclaimed and award winning global theatrical run, Martin Scorsese’s AFI, Golden Globe, New York Film Critics Circle and National Board of Review Award-winning feature “Killers of the Flower Moon,” is now streaming globally on Apple TV+.

“Lessons in Chemistry” – complete series now streaming

Starring and executive produced by Academy Award-winner Brie Larson and based on the best-selling, debut novel from author, science editor and copyrighter Bonnie Garmus, “Lessons in Chemistry” is set in the early 1950s and follows Elizabeth Zott (played by Larson), whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a patriarchal society. When Elizabeth finds herself fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show, and sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives – and the men who are suddenly listening – a lot more than recipes. Starring alongside Larson in the highly anticipated drama are Lewis Pullman, NAACP Image Award-winner Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Kevin Sussman, Patrick Walker, and Thomas Mann.

Hailing from Apple Studios, “Lessons in Chemistry” is produced by Aggregate Films. Six-time Emmy Award-nominee Lee Eisenberg (“WeCrashed,” “Little America”) serves as showrunner. The series is executive produced by Academy Award-nominee Susannah Grant (“Unbelievable,” “Erin Brockovich”) alongside Larson. Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan (“Ozark,” “A Teacher”) executive produce for Aggregate Films. Natalie Sandy executive produces through Piece of Work Entertainment alongside Eisenberg. Louise Shore also serves as executive producer.
