The start of the second half of the week signals a sharp decline in viewer interest (and programming offerings).
*** NOTE: NEW METRICS AND REPORTS ***
- Total TV Overnight Top 30 and Consolidated 7 Top 30 reach is calculated using cumulative unique audiences watching 1 min of broadcast TV and 15 sec of BVOD.
- Total TV National audience is calculated using the audience average for the program as time-coded by the Network across 5CM and all regional markets nationally watching on broadcast TV.
- BVOD national audience is calculated using the total number of minutes watched (multiplied by co-viewing factor) divided by the length of the program.
PRIMETIME ANALYSIS
Primetime was surprisingly brittle (given the success of the Sun-Wed schedules):
Home and Away – Late (642,000 avg) on Seven (7:30pm-8:30pm)
RBT (633,000 avg) on Nine
The Dog House Australia (367,000 avg) on Channel 10.
The commercial 7pm offerings stayed reasonably true to the rest of the week, if down slightly night-on-night:
A Current Affair (924,000 avg) on Nine
Home and Away (742,000 avg) on Seven
The Project (265,000 avg) on 10 (6:30pm-7:30pm).
The penultimate episode of the first season of Grand Designs Transformations (517,000 avg) on the ABC at 8pm stayed consistent, while the later primetime wrestle was reasonably only ever going to be a two-way challenge:
Emergency (507,000 avg) Nine
The Front Bar: All-Sports Edition (462,000 avg) Seven
The Dog Hospital with Graeme Hall (DNR) 10.
