Fans of True Detective: Night Country are in for a treat as BINGE and FOXTEL has announced an early premiere for the show’s fifth episode. Scheduled for release on Saturday, 10 February at 1.00pm AEDT, the episode precedes the season’s conclusion, which will air on Monday, 19 February at the same time.
Set against the bleak backdrop of Ennis, Alaska, the series dives into the mysterious disappearance of eight men from the Tsalal Arctic Research Station. Detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) are tasked with unravelling the case, a journey that forces them to face their own inner demons and the chilling secrets that lie beneath the ice.
The ensemble cast features Finn Bennett, Fiona Shaw, Christopher Eccleston, Isabella Star LaBlanc, and John Hawkes, with appearances by Anna Lambe, Aka Niviâna, June Thiele, Diane Benson, and Joel D. Montgrand.
With the fourth season’s climax approaching on 19 February, enthusiasts have the opportunity to revisit the entire saga, as all four seasons of the acclaimed series are available for streaming on BINGE and FOXTEL.
The creative force behind this season includes Issa López as the showrunner, writer, director, and executive producer, alongside Jodie Foster who also serves as an executive producer.
