This series, following an exhilarating season laden with star-studded performances, is primed to be a battleground for the top four teams of the league.
The BBL Finals on Seven will commence in an extraordinary fortnight of cricket, coinciding with the Australia vs West Indies Test matches. The initial finals are scheduled post-stumps on the third and fourth days of the Test at Adelaide Oval, with the later finals preceding the second Test at the Gabba.
The curtain-raiser for the finals is the much-anticipated Qualifier between the Brisbane Heat and the Sydney Sixers on Friday, 19 January. In this crucial encounter, the winning team will secure its place in the Final on Wednesday, 24 January, while the losing team gets a reprieve with a second chance in the Challenger on Monday, 22 January. These pivotal matches will be broadcast live and free during prime time on Seven.
Adding to the excitement, the Knockout match on Saturday night sees the Perth Scorchers and the Adelaide Strikers clashing in a crucial game. The winner of this match will progress to the Challenger, setting the stage for an enthralling series. Fans are invited to watch this do-or-die match from 7.00pm AEDT, live and free on Seven.
