Football enthusiasts are in for a treat this week as Network 10 and Paramount+ bring an exhilarating mix of international and local football action.

The spotlight is on the Subway Socceroos as they continue their campaign in the AFC Asian Cup, coupled with the commencement of the Scottish Cup, broadcasting exclusively on 10 Play.

Following their commanding 2-0 victory over India, the Socceroos are set to clash with Syria this Thursday. The match, crucial for their advancement in the tournament, will be aired live from 10.00pm AEDT on Network 10 and Paramount+.

Under Graham Arnold‘s leadership, the team is focused on seizing a win to bolster their position in the knockout stages.

“With a 2-0 defeat over India in their AFC Asian Cup opening group match, the Subway Socceroos will face Syria on Thursday, live from 10.00pm AEDT on Network 10 and Paramount+.”

Paramount+ also brings to viewers every game of the AFC Asian Cup. This week’s highlights include Japan, a tournament favourite, facing Iraq on Friday night, and Korea Republic squaring off against Jordan on Saturday, both live from 10.20pm AEDT.

The Isuzu UTE A-League presents a gripping top-of-the-table clash as Wellington Phoenix hosts Melbourne Victory on Friday, exclusive to Paramount+. Following this, a Grand Final rematch is scheduled on Sunday with Central Coast Mariners hosting Melbourne City, live on 10 Bold, 10 Play, and Paramount+.

A mid-week special in the Liberty A-League features Sydney FC versus Central Coast Mariners on Wednesday. The Mariners then face Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday, who are aiming for their fourth consecutive win, with both matches live on 10 Play and Paramount+.

In international club football, the Scottish Cup debuts on 10 Play with the fourth round. The games include Heart of Midlothian, featuring Australians Calem Nieuwenhof and Cameron Devlin, taking on The Spartans on Saturday, followed by Celtic against Buckie Thistle on Monday morning.

Additionally, the Emirates FA Cup third-round replay will see Blackpool host Nottingham Forest on Thursday morning, exclusively on Paramount+.
