Prime Video is set to elevate Australian cricket viewership with its live broadcast of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, starting this Friday.

This event marks the commencement of Prime Video‘s exclusive four-year contract with the International Cricket Council (ICC), which promises Australian fans unprecedented access to all major ICC tournaments until the end of 2027.

This Friday’s broadcast ushers in an exciting era for cricket aficionados in Australia, offering live coverage of the entire ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup. The deal ensures that every match of the prestigious tournament will be streamed live and exclusively for Prime Video subscribers in Australia, with no additional cost to their existing membership.

The ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, hosted in South Africa, features the future stars of cricket from 16 countries, playing across five venues. This 15th edition of the tournament will be comprehensively covered by Prime Video, showcasing all 41 matches over 24 days of exhilarating cricket action.

The tournament will kick off with host nation South Africa facing off against the West Indies, while Ireland will compete against the USA on the same day.

The tournament’s format has been revised, introducing a new Super Six stage post the Group stage to decide the semi-finalists. Australia’s young cricket talents are set to compete against Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Namibia in the group stage, with the grand final scheduled for 11 February in Benoni.

The broadcast schedule for the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup is exclusively available on Prime Video. Broadcasts will generally commence at 6.45pm AEDT, except for the matches on February 6, February 8, and February 11, which will start at 6.30pm AEDT.
