BINGE celebrates over twenty wins at 75th ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARD

The 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Award winners were announced on Tuesday recognising an incredible year of programming, performances and storytelling with over 20 Emmy Award winning shows and talent streaming on BINGE, home of the world’s most talked about shows.

The ceremony was hosted by Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor Anthony Anderson and broadcast live on BINGE and FOXTEL from Los Angeles, recognising the biggest shows of the year and incredible talent.

With 27 nominations, Succession took home several big wins including Outstanding Drama Series. Australian Sarah Snook scored a win for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Kieran Culkin for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series, Matthew Macfadyen for Supporting Actor In A Drama Series and Jesse Armstrong for Best Writing for a Drama Series.

The smash-hit post-apocalyptic series The Last of Us scored eight wins including Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series, Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season or A Movie, Nick Offerman for Outstanding Guest Actor In A Drama Series and Storm Reid for Outstanding Guest Actress In A Drama Series.

Satire comedy The White Lotus secured five wins this year with Jennifer Coolidge earning her second Emmy win for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series, a category which boasted another four Supporting Actress nominations for the series, Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series and Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling. 

Other Emmy winners streaming on BINGE include:

  • Saturday Night Live took home two wins including Outstanding Directing For A Variety Series and Outstanding Production Design For A Variety or Reality Series.
  • Last Week Tonight with John Oliver takes the win for Outstanding Scripted Variety Series and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series which is its eighth consecutive win in this category. 
  • Moonage Daydream, a cinematic odyssey exploring David Bowie’s creative and musical journey,  took home two wins including Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Sound Editing For a Nonfiction or Reality Program. 
  • Award-winning sketch comedy series A Black Lady Sketch Show earned a win for Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming.
