Prime Video launches beIN SPORTS as its first standalone Live Sports Channel in Australia

From today Prime members will be able to watch over 3,500 live sporting events per year on beIN SPORTS through Prime Video Channels.

Prime Video’s partnership with beIN SPORTS is now live, with the service available to Prime members on Prime Video Channels in Australia. beIN SPORTS is the the first standalone live sports channel for the service locally. Prime Video Channels allows customers to get even more out of their Prime membership by adding the channels they love for a monthly subscription fee, with the convenience of a single-account login and user experience, which can be cancelled at any time.

The beIN SPORTS service with Prime Video Channels, which is available for $14.99 AUD per month, is the destination for Australian sports lovers with international football, tennis, and rugby tournaments. It offers fans more than 3,500 live events per year, including a wide array of live and on-demand football content, including Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the English Football League with events like the Carabao Cup, Scottish Professional Football League, Africa Cup of Nations, and more. Fans can also watch tennis events, encompassing the ATP and WTA tours, and European Rugby Union.

More than 100 hours of live sport will feature on the beIN SPORTS channels in launch week, daily action from the ATP ASB Classic in Auckland, the launch of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and key matches from the Bundesliga, Serie A, English Football League and much more.  See start times below (all AEDT).

  1. I already have a direct annual subscription with BEIN. Am I able to use this through the Prime platform without being expected to pay an additional fee?

    • Hi Clive – you could try logging in with your credentials when accessing the service through Prime Video, though I suspect that to access it inside the service you may need to subscribe within that ecosystem.

  2. Making people pay for this as an add-on is pretty stupid, especially when it was free with a Kayo package originally and the same price as the BeIN Sports Connect platform already,

    I also bet that when the cricket is added to the Amazon platform it won’t be charged as an add-on to watch
