Wanna buy a couple of broken reality formats and a clip-show second-last ep? Going cheap.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (646,000) was the highlight of Nine’s Monday as My Mum, Your Dad (312,000) continued to deliver less than impressive audiences though manages third in the primetime slot and lifts slightly on last week’s premiere. Million Dollar Murders (171,000) and Reported Missing (98,000) ran into the late night with a smaller segment of the available eyeballs.

Nine first in both primary (18%) and network (26.4%) rankings.

Channel 7

Remaining consistent at 7pm Home & Away (426,000) was the high point of Seven’s night as the season sixteen premiere of Big Brother Australia (274,000) drew a very small audience, down a whopping 44% on last year’s premiere, though it might/should pick up in BVOD/Total TV in a week’s time. The rest of the night was given away to US drama, with a double ep of S.W.A.T. (146,000; 111,000)
and Chicago Fire (34,000).

Seven second in both primary (16.5%) and network (25.2%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (462,000) and Australian Story (571,000) offered a big starting lift for the ABC, and then a slight lift week-on-week for Four Corners (398,000) and Media Watch (391,000). Q+A (219,000) sees a boost though is struggling to get above 230k these days, as Aunty finished the night with a repeat of The Trouble with Maggie Cole (24,000).

ABC third in primary (15.3%) and fourth in network (20.2%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (155,000 6:30pm; 293,000 7pm) opened 10’s night with a much better result than last night, while the penultimate ‘greatest hits’ ep of The Masked Singer Australia (379,000) delivered a smaller audience than would have been expected. The season eleven finale of Have You Been Paying Attention? (567,000) was absolutely the highlight of their night coming in streets ahead of all other entertainment programming for the night. Melbourne Cup Preview Show (149,000) saw the audience fall away sharply and only a few hung in for a repeat of FBI: Most Wanted (39,000).

10 fourth in primary (14.2%) and third in network (20.7%) rankings.
