In anticipation of the upcoming 2024 season, Channel 7 has officially commenced casting for its beloved cooking competition, My Kitchen Rules (MKR).
Potential contestants who harbour a passion for culinary adventures and entertaining are urged to apply. Highlighting the essence of the competition, the casting call expresses,
If you love cooking, entertaining, fun and adventure, then apply now to be a contestant on the next series of MKR.”
Producers are once again seeking teams comprising two individuals who share a pre-existing relationship – be it friends, family, or partners. Furthermore, all participants must be aged 18 and above and hold either Australian citizenship or permanent residency status.
Adding a dash of familiarity and excitement to the 2024 edition, the French-born gourmet, Manu Feildel, is set to return as host and judge. He will once again share the spotlight with the acclaimed chef, Colin Fassnidge.
With the show consistently pulling strong viewership numbers, reaching peaks of 1.1 million viewers in Total TV, the continuation of MKR is no surprise. Channel 7’s forthcoming industry Upfronts event in October is predicted to feature an official announcement confirming the series’ renewal.
For those eager to be a part of the culinary journey, applications are now open and accessible here.
