Reality TV Recap: Redemption and Rabbits Rule the Night on MKR, But Dessert Leaves a Bitter Taste
In a stunning comeback performance, Claudean and Anthony showcased culinary resilience on Tuesday night’s episode of MKR (My Kitchen Rules), presented on Channel 7 and 7plus.
The pair, evidently invigorated, entered the kitchen with a newfound positive energy. Claudean set the mood by positioning ancestral photographs around the cooking space, saying,
“I think this cook is different so far because we’ve gone into it with a better attitude.”
The Anticipation
As the dinner guests took their seats, gatecrashers Chris and Aaron questioned the team’s ability to hold up under kitchen stress. Chris was particularly skeptical, remarking, “I’m expecting one or two disasters tonight.”
Overcoming Entrée Errors
True to Chris’s predictions, the duo stumbled initially with their opening dish, Stuffed Zucchini Flowers on Basil Pesto. A snag occurred when the zucchini flowers began to split open during the frying process. However, a rapid modification to the batter saved the day, and the entrée was back on course.
Judges’ Seal of Approval
Their salvaged entrée won rave reviews, especially from judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge. Manu literally cleaned his plate, while Colin effused, “This is what I want to eat when I come to your house.” Aaron, another competitor, admitted the team’s strong showing when asked by Manu if their dish was superior, saying, “That’s a tough question.”
Main Course Marvel
The high note continued with their main course: Rabbit Stew with Thyme, Black Olives and Citrus. For Claudean, this dish was a heartfelt tribute, inspired by her family recipe. She was emotional yet focused, commenting, “The rabbit means a lot to me, it’s my family recipe. If I don’t get a good critique, I’m gonna be running up the main street screaming my head off.” The stew earned unanimous approval, save for Aaron and Chris, who were noticeably more critical, raising suspicions among the other guests.
Fumbling the Finale
However, the team’s sweet victory soured during dessert. Their Tiramisu was plagued by soggy homemade savoiardi biscuits, and a last-minute dash to infuse moisture into the dish failed. The dessert turned out to be another letdown, echoing their prior performance.
The Final Scoreboard
The night wrapped up with Claudean and Anthony achieving a collective score of 68 out of 110, making them second only to Aaron and Chris.

The rabbit meal looked great. Where did they get the rabbit from?
I think claudine is so rude and glad coco gone knew nothing about cooking.
Contestants who are not a very good cook are I believe told by the producers to be loud. The original cast have Coco n Pearl, and Claudean and Anthony the two lowest performers.
Mel and Amber’s time to cook, Marcus found a short black hair on his plate, I think the hair did not belong to either Mel or Amber but his own hair.
I think claudine is a very horrible and rude person iam italian and her food is not that
Great as I see it wow claudine you need to get
Off your horse your not a great cook
