Australia Welcomes First Premium Free-to-Air Nickelodeon Channel

In an exciting development for local viewers, Australia has rolled out its first premium free-to-air Nickelodeon channel from today, Tuesday, 1 August.

The new channel which replaces 10 Shake, signifies a new era of entertainment, offering much-loved Nickelodeon content to Australian audiences at no charge.

Whether viewers are in the mood for an underwater adventure in Bikini Bottom, a daring rescue mission with our fearless ‘paw-some pups’, or a nostalgic journey into the 90’s with Nick@Nite retro classics, Nickelodeon is set to provide it all for free.

The channel promises a comprehensive line-up catering to various demographics and time slots, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.

In an entertainment-packed launch week, the dedicated Nickelodeon channel will present a smorgasbord of Nick Jr. preschool favourites.

Shows including PAW Patrol, Blaze And The Monster Machines, Blue’s Clues & You!, Baby Shark’s Big Show!, Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi, Ready Set Dance, Corn & Peg, and Santiago Of The Seas will dominate the morning run, promising hours of engaging entertainment.

The launch week also marks the free-to-air premiere of Ryan’s Mystery Play Date Season Three, airing weekdays from 10.30am.

The afternoon schedule from 1 August will witness the debut of The Smurfs at 2.05pm, followed by Middlemost Post at 2.30pm, Season 12 of SpongeBob SquarePants from 3.50pm, and The Casagrandes Season Two from 4.15pm.

The weekend line-up will be boosted with the addition of Double Dare at 2.30pm, and viewers can also look forward to episodes from popular series like iCarly, The Thundermans, Danger Force, Henry Danger, and Big Time Rush.

As night falls, the launch week ushers in Nick@Nite for those young at heart, with the free-to-air premiere of retro 90’s classics including Ren & Stimpy, Angry Beavers, Rocko’s Modern Life, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, and Catdog. To top it all off, the channel will be featuring late-night movies for a mix of laughter, action, and adventure.

You can tune into the new wave of fun from today on the Nickelodeon Channel 13 – offering more entertainment and more choice for viewers, all for free.

It all switches over from today, Tuesday, 1 August – free on Nickelodeon, Channel 13.
