This June, Apple TV+ continues to curate high-quality content, providing its viewers with a compelling mix of drama, sports, comedy, and animated shows.

Top of the bill this month is a new limited series titled “The Crowded Room”, executive produced by and starring Tom Holland, with a supporting cast including Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum. This captivating thriller follows the life of Danny Sullivan, a man implicated in a New York shooting back in 1979. The first three episodes of the ten-part series will debut globally on 9 June, with subsequent episodes releasing weekly through 28 July.

Sports fans can look forward to the second season of “Swagger”, a gripping drama inspired by NBA superstar Kevin Durant’s experiences. This emotional journey into the world of elite youth basketball clubs makes a return on 22 June with familiar faces like O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Isaiah Hill, alongside newcomers Orlando Jones and Shannon Brown.

This crime comedy, which explores different characters’ accounts of one disastrous night, adds new film genres and an expanded cast, featuring stars such as Elizabeth Perkins, Zach Woods, and Ken Jeong. The new season follows Detective Danner’s (Tiffany Haddish) quest to solve a murder at a wedding.

On 14 July, the epic saga “Foundation”, based on Isaac Asimov’s award-winning stories, will also be back with its second season. Emmy-nominated actors Jared Harris and Lee Pace return, alongside a host of new characters and stars, including Isabella Laughland and Holt McCallany.

Basketball fans have another treat in store, with the documentary “Stephen Curry: Underrated” making its global debut on 21 July. This critically acclaimed film charts the rise of Stephen Curry, from an undersized college player to a four-time NBA champion.

For the kids, there’s the all-new animated series, “The Snoopy Show”, set to premiere on 9 June. The show promises new adventures for the beloved beagle Snoopy and his feathered friend Woodstock.

Apple TV+ is ensuring June is a month packed with premium content to delight its Australian subscribers.
