FOXTEL confirms Wednesday launch date for MSNBC News Channel

TV Blackbox can confirm the new channel is finally set to arrive for customers on the Foxtel and Flash platforms from Wednesday the 5th of April.

The revised launch date comes after Foxtel was forced to postpone a planned March launch due to technical issues.

MSNBC is described as America’s premier destination for in-depth analysis of daily headlines, insightful political commentary and informed perspectives.

The 24/7 news channel offers a schedule of news coverage, political opinions and award-winning documentary programming and features popular titles including The Rachel Maddow Show, Hardball, and Morning Joe.

The new channel is being added as part of a recently negotiated programming agreement between the Foxtel Group and NBCUniversal.

  1. I connected up with Flash streaming yesterday on the basis of this story. MSNBC wasn’t an available channel yesterday (Wednesday) and still not there this morning. Hopefully soon.
