Welcome to The Bachelors Australia. Plural.

At its new home on the Gold Coast, The Bachelors Australia continues the journey to find and celebrate love like we’ve come to expect from seasons past. There will be dates, there will be roses, and of course our very own cupid Osher Günsberg.

But let’s not forget that it’s 2023. And alongside our handsome, successful, looking for love Bachelors Felix Von Hofe, Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli, the smart, beautiful and sassy women entering the mansion have voices and are encouraged to use them.

And with one huge plot twist, it’s engagement rings at 20 paces. And knees will drop at finale. But who will say yes?

Felix Von Hofe

The Bachelor

Outgoing and social, former pro basketballer Felix previously played for Australia. After reaching his professional sporting goal and realising that it wasn’t quite what he wanted in life, the three-point shooter traded in his jersey and moved to talking all things sport, something he is very passionate about.

Not interested in the 21st century tech-based world of dating, the marketing manager and sports commentator prefers the old fashion way of getting to know people in person, face to face. Cue The Bachelors Australia as his perfect dating scenario.

Coming back to Australia after living in the States and with a stable job, six foot four Felix is happy where he is in life and in his words, is well and truly ready to “get into a proper relationship”.

For Felix, when it comes to meeting someone, it’s all about personality and good banter is key. Felix likes to be on the front foot and always makes the first moves in the beginning with a love interest and while he won’t ever fight for a girl’s attention, he is competitive so if she isn’t interested in him, he takes time to reflect on why that might be.

Felix loves a woman with ambition and can’t wait to find his perfect match. The 27-year-old’s ideal partner will be affectionate, love kids and enjoy fitness so they can enjoy similar hobbies that involve some gym time and good old sport.

Jed Mcintosh

The Bachelor

A session drummer for rappers and rock artists like Lenny Kravitz, Jed is driven and extremely passionate about his craft. A true creative, his own band Mood Monroe is the perfect outlet for his emotions and creativity and Jed is living his dream.

Outgoing and confident, the self-confessed 25-year-old rockstar is happy that punk is having a resurgence. With his tattoos, nail polish and love of eyeliner, Jed stands out in a crowd being his authentic self and is comfortable in his own skin.

Originally from the country, the drummer and music producer loves hiking and dirt-bike riding when he gets the chance and hopes his future lady enjoys living in the moment.

Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Jed is always looking to grow as a person. Sensitive and open with his emotions, there is more than meets the eye with this punk rocker. Jed finds purpose with his strong faith in God and feels it gives him solid grounding.

When looking for his ideal partner Jed is quick to say that confidence turns him on. Being up on stage means he gets a lot of attention and if a girl doesn’t feel secure in herself, he’s found in the past it can create problems.

In his own words,“sometimes the reason people fall in love with you in the first place ends up being the very reason they don’t like you.”

An open book, Jed is ready to find his future wife!

Thomas Malucelli (image - Channel 10)
Thomas Malucelli (image – Channel 10)

Thomas Malucelli

The Bachelor

Loyal, confident and passionate about living life to the fullest, Italian born Thomas grew up in Tuscany on a farm surrounded by animals. After moving to the United States in his early twenties he then made his way to Australia, a country he adores.

With a passion for everything fitness related, Thomas is all about pushing himself out of
his comfort zone. This interest in self-improvement led him to become a global champion representing Australia for a body and mind transformation competition.

The sun is medicine to the Restaurant Manager who is big fan of motorbikes, adrenalin sports, spending time at the beach, hiking and working outdoors.

Thomas believes love is the most amazing feeling and is looking for a confident woman who is optimistic, healthy, intelligent and honest. His ideal partner absolutely loves whatever she does for a living, has a great sense of humour and values health and fitness.

A self-confessed hopeless romantic, Thomas believes that love pushes you to open yourself up completely to another person, allowing yourself to really be seen and understood saying, “the excitement and wonder of early love, of mutual discovery, of delighting fantasies is magical.”

The 35-year-old hopes that this experience will give him the ability to form a deep connection with the possibility of finding true love. While the idea of jumping out of his comfort zone is scary, it also excites him, and he is well and truly ready.

Something fun, never a dinner date

Abigail - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Abigail – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

ABIGAIL, 26, NEW SOUTH WALES

Bachelor: Felix

Vivacious Abigail describes herself as a Duracell bunny, a yes woman and someone who always sees the best in everyone.

The 26-year-old values kindness and is passionate about making the world a kinder place.

While Abigail’s life is filled with wonderfully empathetic characters, she is looking for her Prince Charming that meets those same standards.

She loves getting active, testing her limits, watching the sunrise and going on adventures.

Why did you apply for the show?

I hate the current age we live in where we judge potential partners on five photos. I fall in love with people’s character, so far prefer to meet someone in real life. Having been consistently unlucky in love, I decided it was time to bring in the professionals.

Have you been in love before? (Please explain)

Of course, it is the most wonderful feeling in the world. I have been lucky enough to have three partners that I have loved. Hopefully the philosophy that you only have three loves in your life is not true…

Why do you think you’re still single?

I really wanted to spend some time rebuilding myself and ascertaining what makes me happy as an individual, as I have a habit of prioritising other people over my own needs. I have had a great time being single but it is time to form some deeper connections.

Alesia - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Alesia – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

ALÉSIA, 28, NEW SOUTH WALES

Bachelor: Jed

Honest and always one to seize the moment, Alésia loves adrenaline and the adventure that comes along with travelling but misses her three cats when she is away.

The vegan enjoys good, genuine conversations, is passionate about speaking up for all beings who aren’t in a position to speak up for themselves and would rather be single than settle for the wrong person.

Have you been in love before? (Please explain)

I have, I had a great friendship with my ex partner. We traveled a lot and did many great things together but we just weren’t each other’s person.

What do you have to offer a potential partner?

Companionship, kindness, fun and support.

What are your relationship deal breakers?

Dishonesty, not genuine.

Angela - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Angela – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

ANGELA, 25, VICTORIA

Bachelor: Jed

Passionate about living life to the fullest and finding a love that is exciting and bold, Angela doesn’t want to settle and is waiting to find The One.

Always curious and witty, Angela is looking for a love that leads to the good stuff – kiddos, marriage and two German shepherds. She’s sure it’s out there!

Have you been in love before? (Please explain)

I have, twice before. Falling in love doesn’t come easily to me because I’m dead-scared of being vulnerable, as well as being someone who doesn’t take love lightly.

Why do you think you’re still single?

I have come to realise over the years that I am a perfectionist, in all aspects of my life, but particularly when it comes to men and relationships. I am one to notice an almost insignificant red flag and immediately become hesitant in continuing to date the person. It comes down to wanting to settle down and be married once, and to do it right.

Compare your love life up to now, with a romantic comedy—and explain your choice!

Bridget Jones’ Diary! Simply because she’s content in her career and yet seems to always allow herself to get in the way of being in a loving relationship. Over-focusing on red flags and over-looking the good signs are things I do too, Bridge!

Aylin - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Aylin – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

AYLIN, 25, QUEENSLAND

Bachelor: Thomas

Unlucky in love, Aylin is sick of the dating world leading to disappointment and is hoping to finally fall in love.

Honest and kind, the 25-year-old is looking for someone with a personality that just clicks with hers.

She believes the universe often works its magic on situations and with words of affirmation being her love language, on meeting the Bachelor she hopes to do something memorable and might spice things up by giving him a compliment in Turkish.

Why did you apply for the show?

I applied for the show because I have been very unlucky in love, I always wanted to meet the perfect guy for me however I never stumbled across the right person. I’ve met so many guys who have never been ready to settle down or has value in commitment. I’ve never felt that spark before and had the opportunity to explore that and when I did fancy someone it was never reciprocated. So, after my past experience, I am more than ready to find love and hopefully meet the one and I think this show was a great opportunity for that.

Why do you think you’re still single?

I’m definitely not around the right guys, I allowed myself to get hurt in the past a lot hence why I haven’t been putting myself out there for a couple of years.

Describe your ideal partner – attitude, personality, looks.

I want a guy version of me when it comes to personality, someone kind, genuine, confident, energetic, funny, and has a goofy and carefree side. Someone very positive, I have an uplifting and positive attitude and I would love someone the same. I am not fussy on looks, I just care for a great smile, fit and someone tall as I am tall myself.

Bella - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Bella – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

BELLA, 27, NEW SOUTH WALES

Bachelor: Jed

Bella is all about living life to the fullest, finding op shop gems, wearing bright colours, swimming in the ocean and having a good dance at least once a day.

Intelligent and empathetic, the 27-year-old believes strongly in human rights, equality of education across Australia and feminism. Her parents taught her that when it comes to love you should trust your gut.

Why did you apply for the show?

I have had a lot of failed relationships in the past and it’s pretty on brand for me to do something radical, I felt like it would be an adventure and I hope it is.

Why do you think you’re still single?

Because I choose to be.

What do you have to offer a potential partner?

So much! How could I even begin to put it all on paper? I have so much love to give and have so many big plans for my life, I am passionate, I am hilarious, I am full of energy and love making plans! It would be amazing if I had a partner to do it with, but also not the end of the world if I don’t. Also, I am an absolutely incredible cook. But I’m not into gender roles so he’d have to do all the washing up.

Caitlin - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Caitlin – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

CATILIN, 25, QUEENSLAND

Bachelor: Jed

Loveable, funny and ambitious, Caitlin loves the gym, being active and is most happy surrounded by her friends and family.

Already enjoying her dream job, she’s looking for her soul mate. Her parents’ advice has been that love is amazing when you find it and when it’s with the right person it isn’t forced, so that’s what she is looking for.

Have you been in love before? (Please explain)

Yes, but I look back on that and I definitely wasn’t loved the right way.

Why do you think you’re still single?

I’m fairly certain im going for the wrong guys.

Compare your love life up to now, with a romantic comedy—and explain your choice!

Love Hard. I haven’t been catfished looks wise, but I’ve definitely been fed utter lies. They just tell you want you want to hear, which makes me fall hard, then when I show interest back, it’s all over! I always fall deep and it just lands me in hot water every single time. Apparently dating is all about the “chase” these days, I refuse to chase anyone!

CJ - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
CJ – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

CJ, 30, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Bachelor: Thomas

Loud, social and energetic, CJ enjoys being around good people and having a good time.

Describing herself as a full YOLO’er, she’s learnt that you need to work when it comes to relationships but it’s important to know when to let go as well. The 30-year-old is an open book, always honest and is looking for a clean, fit and positive partner.

Why did you apply for the show?

I’m finally in a good place emotionally, mentally and confidently in my life, I’m settled, enjoying my career, my children are that bit older now; I’m ready to bring a man into mine and my children’s life who I can have a laugh and good time with, who fits into our home and chilled but busy lifestyle.

Have you been in love before? (Please explain)

I have, a few times, different kinds of love. A high school love, a best friend love and one I thought would last eternity but through growth and change within myself, ended. And that’s ok.

Why do you think you’re still single?

Because I have high standards and know what I want.

Finding myself again after being in a long-term unhealthy relationship.

What do you have to offer a potential partner?

Good times, laughs, adventure and spontaneity.

Compare your love life up to now, with a romantic comedy—and explain your choice!

Someone Great: got out of an unhealthy long-term relationship and learnt to love me again.

Eboni – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

EBONI, 29, QUEENSLAND

Bachelor: Felix

Positive and selfless and a First Nations woman, Eboni is passionate about encouraging Indigenous children to be the best they can be.

Simple things make the 29-year-old happy such as the beach, good coffee, spending time with friends and taking her dog for a walk, she believes that life can be tough at times but if the simple things work out, it’s always a good day.

The recruitment specialists’ parents taught her that relationships are a rollercoaster, ever evolving and changing and she is ready to go on that ride.

What is your proudest achievement to date?

That every time I get knocked down, I always get back up.

Have you been in love before? (Please explain)

Yes. The two long term relationships I had, I was in love with them both. They were the guys, I felt safe, secure and loved at the time. Unfortunately, wasn’t meant to be forever.

Why do you think you’re still single?

Because I haven’t found the yin to my yang. The guy who balances or complements me in what we both want out of life and a relationship.

Emma - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Emma – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

EMMA, 25, VICTORIA

Bachelor: Felix

Loving, caring and unique, Emma is ready to do something way out of her comfort zone. Surrounding herself with friends and family where she can truly be herself brings her a lot of happiness.

The 25-year-old has a passion for travel and can often be found working abroad at summer camps.

First to put her hand up for any adventure, Emma is ready and open to finding love and hopes she finds someone who can reciprocate what she has to give.

Why did you apply for the show?

I applied to be on The Bachelor to meet someone who isn’t afraid of commitment. My past dating experiences have led to a lot of disappointment, and although they make for good stories, I’m at a position in my life where I want something genuine and real. I’ve seen the previous Bachelors and the successful relationships the show has created, and it’s something I hope that the show can bring me.

Have you been in love before? (Please explain)

Yes – I have been in love once. Unfortunately, I wasn’t in love with the right person but it was an important lesson to realise what I deserve and want in future relationships.

What do you have to offer a potential partner?

I have a lot of love to give to the right person. My loyal nature means I can give someone the commitment they deserve and make them feel respected in a relationship. I’m quite a fun, spontaneous person so I can guarantee we will always be having a laugh.

Jacinta - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Jacinta – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

JACINTA, 30, NEW SOUTH WALES

Bachelor: Thomas

Spontaneous, witty and intelligent, Jacinta describes herself as the epitome of the saying ‘big things come in small packages’.

Being the eldest of 27 first cousins, Jacinta loves her big Lebanese family and likes to march to the beat of her own drum.

Sarcasm is the 30-year old’s native language, she simple cannot tolerate narrow minded people and believes that the world is too large and life is too short to go around spreading negativity.

Looking for her Mr Right, Jacinta is hoping to find her best friend who has a good sense of humour and strong family values.

What is the saddest moment/lowest point in your life?

Realising that someone who was part of my life for a decade, just wasn’t a part of my future and having to close that chapter once and for all.

Have you been in love before?

Yes, I’m lucky enough to have been in love before. It was definitely all the cliches you hear about when discussing your ‘first love’. We were very young and went through some really difficult times together. He certainly helped shape me into the woman I am today as I grew from that experience and the pain of the breakup into a really strong and confident woman, who knows exactly what she wants, and importanty, deserves.

Why do you think you’re still single?

That’s the million dollar question, isn’t it? I like to say I’m single by choice – I really know what I’m looking for in a partner and also what I have to offer, so I won’t settle out of fear of being alone or just wanting company. I truly believe my soulmate is out there in this world and I won’t commit until I meet him.

Jasmine - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Jasmine – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

JASMINE, 24, QUEENSLAND

Bachelor: Jed

Always standing up for what she believes in, the sporty, driven and always late 24-year-old is an avid netball player and loves space facts. Jasmine is looking for someone to travel the world with.

Why did you apply for the show?

I wanted to challenge myself to open myself up to love again. Over the past two years, I really learned that the only person that I can rely on is myself, which led me to put some serious walls up when it came to love, I want to see if I can bring those walls down.

What are your relationship deal breakers?

Somebody who is extremely judgmental, fussy, rude, insensitive to others, and isn’t able to put themselves in the other persons shoes.

Is this your first brush with fame?

My dad summited me into a magazine when I was 12 for catching the biggest fish, I won and got into the magazine. His proudest dad moment I think!

Jenae - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Jenae – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

JENAE, 29, VICTORIA

Bachelor: Thomas

Fun loving, independent and spontaneous, Jenae is passionate about empowering women and spreading a healthy self-image.

The beauty entrepreneur built her business from the ground up and that along with her charity work for animal welfare is her soul’s happy place.

Throw in good food, good company and a good laugh – nearly always at her expense – and the 29-year-old is at her happiest.

Jenae jokes that she is “as subtle as a brick to the face” when she fancies someone but would love to meet her forever person.

What is the saddest moment/lowest point in your life?

Being a small business owner surviving 60 weeks of lockdowns and closures. Work is my happiness and having it forcefully taken away without any alternatives for the beauty industry was horrible for my heart and financially. I’m so proud my small business survived.

When was your last relationship and why did it end? (please include how long you were together and how you met)

My last relationship ended January 2021. We had on-going issues we couldn’t come back from. Communication and trust are key parts of a relationship that we no longer had.

Why do you think you’re still single?

I am a relationship person. I’ve been in two six-year relationships. Since being single I have rediscovered who I am, what I want and what I don’t want. I don’t want to waste time in the wrong relationships again. I now know my worth and completely secure to be on my own. I don’t need a partner to complete me, but I would love someone to complement and add to my life. So, I am happy to do me and wait for my equal.

Jess - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Jess – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

JESS, 24, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Bachelor: Jed

Generous and kind with a dry sense of humour, Jess is always looking for an opportunity to do better and is not comfortable with settling in any aspect of her life.

Blunt with no filter, the 24-year old’s parents have taught her that when things get tough you don’t walk away, fight for the love that you know is there.

After never having a boyfriend, Jess wants to experience being in love and having someone love her back.

Why did you apply for the show?

It’s a unique, once in a lifetime opportunity to find love.

Why do you think you’re still single?

Working away makes dating a little harder, as I don’t get enough time to spend time and really get to know someone. Also, to be completely honest I don’t feel as if I’ve met my person yet.

Describe your dream date.

My dream date would be something either on or near the water filled with lots of good food and banter.

Why did you apply for the show?

Hopefully to find someone who I can form a connection with and consider building a life with both inside and outside of the show.

What is your proudest achievement to date?

Auditioning for the ensemble for Strictly Ballroom The Musical at my local theatre and being asked to play the lead character instead. Getting out of my comfort zone was a massive growth opportunity and the experience was so much fun.

Describe your dream date.

Coffee and walk by the beach, followed by a relaxing couples massage/day spa experience.

Kristen (Kiki) - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)
Kristen (Kiki) – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

KIRSTEN (KIKI), 38, QUEENSLAND

Bachelor: Thomas

Calm and collected, Kiki describes her passions as nature, equality, love and Jason Mamoa.

The 38-year-old enjoys playing the guitar, painting and sculpting. She’s known to put people in their place if needed, but in a nice way, with a smile.

Kiki’s looking to find her true person, someone who loves and respects her for who she is.

Why do you think you’re still single?

I value myself and my needs more and so I am much more considered in who I spend my energy on…who I let into my life.

Compare your love life up to now, with a romantic comedy—and explain your choice!

The Holiday. I’ve definitely been a Kate Winslet, always putting my partner first.

Arthur: “Iris in the movies we have leading ladies and the best friend. You, I can tell are a leading lady but for some reason you’re behaving like the best friends”

Iris: “You’re so right. You’re supposed to be the leading lady of your own life.”

I’m the leading lady of my life these days.

Describe your ideal partner – attitude, personality, looks.

Kind, open, honest, fun, intelligent, love a sexy back, kind eyes and knows how to be “with” a woman.

Krystal - The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image - Paul A. Broben)

KRYSTAL, 26, QUEENSLAND

Bachelor: Felix

Full of life and confidence, Krystal loves travelling, eating good food and living her best life every single day.

Free spirited with a kind heart, Krystal describes how she behaves when she fancies someone like “a lion with prey, I see it, I want it, I get it.”

Describe yourself in five words.

I would describe myself as vibrant, chaotic, confident, charismatic and cheeky.

Why do you think you’re still single?

I think I’m single because I’m independent and most guys are intimidated by my confidence and fun. I also think it’s because I refuse to settle for anything less than I deserve. I just think I’ve enjoyed single life so much that I’m used to the lifestyle and almost fear what it’s like to be vulnerable. I’m definitely a “no feelings” kinda girl as I’m scared of getting hurt, but I have to try at some point, right?

Compare your love life up to now, with a romantic comedy—and explain your choice!

My life has probably been most like Eat, Pray, Love. Full of travel and wild experiences whilst trying to figure out what on earth I’m actually doing. Once again, colourful chaos.

Lauren – The Bachelors Australia 2023 (image – Paul A. Broben)

The hairdresser knows the right questions to ask when she wants to find something out. At 28 years old Lauren is looking for love and really hopes to find the one.

Why did you apply for the show?

I applied for the show as I run a business I am too busy to date, taking time out of work will allow me to venture into dating.

Why do you think you’re still single?

Relationship deal breakers would be if they didn’t look after their space/environment or their mental and physical health. Also, I like a more masculine energy as I am a feminine energy. I’m spiritual and go off energy and vibes

Describe your ideal partner – attitude, personality, looks.

Ideal partner – masculine energy without ego. Healthy happy energetic full of life and love, being open. Looks don’t mean the biggest deal to me, I find someone more and more attractive with their morals, how they hold themselves how they speak to others and how they think. A healthy, smart mentality is the more attractive to me.

Travel, beach time and hikes make her happy and she is looking for someone to come along for the ride.

What is your proudest achievement to date?

I’m really proud of travelling by myself around the world. There is nothing like it and you learn and grow so much as a person.

What do you have to offer a potential partner?

I feel like I am a great communicator who is honest, a hopeless romantic and can offer a lifetime of adventures.

Describe your ideal partner – attitude, personality, looks.

Bachelor: Thomas

Kind, gentle soul Leah is always helping others and doesn’t take herself too seriously.

Keen not to be the dreaded single cat lady, Leah wants to find love the old fashion way but that hasn’t worked out so far and she isn’t interested in meeting someone on dating apps.

While she hasn’t always let the right ones in in the past, the 32-year-old is ready to change that and really give the next guy all of her.

Why did you apply for the show?

It’s been said that love finds you when you are ready, I know I am ready. I’m ready for someone to have a place in my heart, that no one else has ever had before. It’s time for me to take a risk in finding love and to stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start getting excited about what is going to go right. It’s time to take my chance, be honest, jump, go for it, be all in and why the hell not. I truly believe this small step in the Bachelor’s direction is going to be the biggest step of my life.

What is your proudest achievement to date?

Owning my own home!

What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome in your life?

Seeing the best in people. I used always see the best in people and assume they couldn’t do any wrong, but I now realise that not everyone has pure intentions and people are in fact quite selfish and more often than not, my trust and judgement is compromised. These days I’m a lot more wary of people. Although I do still choose to see the best in people, once they show who they are I don’t backtrack and provide excuses. I get the f*ck out of there.

Why do you think you’re still single?

It’s 100% my choice. I just have high expectations since I’ve always given my all and received little in relationship and I’ve been focusing on my career and friends who are everything to me.

Describe your dream date.

Movie World! I’m such an adrenaline junkie and I love theme parks. Or skydiving!
